Abstract
Guru PAUD yang berkompeten dapat dilihat dari keterampilan dan keahlian yang dimiliki, yaitu terkait pengelolaan kelas untuk menciptakan kelas yang efektif dan efisien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh data empiris serta memberikan deskripsi mengenai pengaruh latar belakang pendidikan guru PAUD terhadap keterampilan mengelola kelas di Kecamatan Jatinegara, Jakarta Timur. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian sebanyak 75 guru PAUD di lembaga non formal dengan latar belakang pendidikan berbeda-beda. Teknik pengembilan sampel yang digunakan adalah cluster random sampling. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan metode expost facto. Data dikumpulkan melalui penyebaran kuesioner yang terdiri dari 36 butir pernyataan terkait keterampilan mengelola kelas. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji one way anava dengan nilai sig. 0.001 < 0.05, maka Ha diterima. Melalui uji-t, diperoleh nilai thitung > ttabel, sehingga Ha diterima. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan latar belakang pendidikan guru PAUD terhadap keterampilan mengelola kelas. Maka, diketahui bahwa semakin linear latar belakang pendidikan yang dimiliki guru PAUD yaitu S1 PAUD, maka semakin baik pula keterampilan guru mengelola kelas. ***** Competent PAUD teachers can be seen from the skills and expertise they have, namely related to classroom management to create an effective and efficient classroom.. This study aims to obtain empirical data and provide a description of the effect of PAUD teachers' educational background on classroom management skills in Jatinegara District, East Jakarta. The sample used in the study was 75 PAUD teachers in non-formal institutions with different educational backgrounds. The sampling technique used was cluster random sampling. This type of research is quantitative with expost facto method. Data were collected through distributing questionnaires consisting of 36 statement items related to classroom management skills. Hypothesis testing using one way anava test with sig value. 0.001 <0.05, then Ha is accepted. Through the t-test, the value of t count > t table is obtained, so Ha is accepted. The results showed that there is a significant influence of PAUD teachers' educational background on classroom management skills. So, it is known that the more linear the educational background of PAUD teachers, namely S1 PAUD, the better the teacher's skills in managing the classroom.
