Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pengembangan kompetensi terhadap kinerja pegawai di Arsip Nasional Republik Indonesia (ANRI). Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei, dengan variabel pengembangan kompetensi sebagai variabel independent (X) dan kinerja pegawai sebagai variabel dependent (Y). Sampelsebanyak 74 pegawai diambil dari populasi 278 pegawai. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji normalitas, linearitas, regresi linier sederhana, koefisien determinasi, dan uji-t. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan kompetensi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai dengan nilai t hitung 20,093 > t tabel 1,666 dan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05. Persamaan regresi yang diperoleh adalah Ŷ = 9,524 + 0,970X dengan koefisien determinasi sebesar 84,9%. Kesimpulannya, pengembangan kompetensi berperan penting dalam meningkatkan kinerja pegawai ANRI, sehingga program pengembangan kompetensi perlu dioptimalkan sebagai strategi peningkatan kinerja. **** This research aims to examine the effect of competency development on employee performance at the National Archives of the Republic of Indonesia (ANRI). Using a quantitative survey approach, the independent variable is competency development (X) and the dependent variable is employee performance (Y). The sample consisted of 74 employees from a population of 278. Data were analyzed using normality and linearity tests, simple linear regression, coefficient of determination, and t-test. The hypothesis test results show that competency development has a positive and significant effect on employee performance with a t-value of 20.093 > t-table 1.666 and significance value 0.000 < 0.05. The regression equation is Ŷ = 9.524 + 0.970X with a coefficient of determination of 84.9%. In conclusion, competency development plays a crucial role in improving employee performance at ANRI, and competency development programs should be optimized as a strategy to enhance performance.
