Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi secara komprehensif implementasi Program Adiwiyata Mandiri di SMAN 1 Sukakarya dalam meningkatkan kesadaran dan aksi lingkungan di kalangan warga sekolah. Program Adiwiyata Mandiri merupakan tingkat penghargaan tertinggi dalam Program Adiwiyata yang menunjukkan komitmen sekolah dalam mengembangkan pendidikan lingkungan hidup dan menciptakan budaya peduli lingkungan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dan model evaluasi CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) yang dikembangkan oleh Stufflebeam. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan kepala sekolah, koordinator tim Adiwiyata, guru, dan siswa, serta observasi partisipatif dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian evaluasi menunjukkan Evaluasi context mengungkapkan bahwa Program Adiwiyata Mandiri telah dirancang berdasarkan analisis kebutuhan yang akurat dan mendalam terhadap kondisi lingkungan sekolah, dimana terdapat urgensi untuk meningkatkan kesadaran lingkunganhidup yang masih rendah,praktik pengelolaan sampah yang belum optimal, dan pemanfaatan sumber daya yang belum optimal. Hasil evaluasi input menunjukkan bahwa meskipun terdapat beberapa keterbatasan, SMAN 1 Sukakarya telah berhasil mengoptimalkan sumber daya yang tersedia untuk mendukung implementasi program secara efektif. Hasil evaluasi process mengungkapkan bahwa implementasi keempat komponen Adiwiyata telah berjalan dengan sangat baik dan sistematis. Hasil evaluasi product menunjukkan capaian yang sangat memuaskan dalam mencapai tujuan program yang telah ditetapkan. Dampak positif terlihat pada peningkatan kesadaran lingkungan, prestasi akademik siswa, dan kompetensi guru. Tantangan yang diidentifikasi meliputi keterbatasan kompetensi khusus guru, keterbatasan anggaran untuk program inovatif, dan resistensi perubahan. Rekomendasi mencakup peningkatan kapasitas sumber daya manusia, diversifikasi sumber pendanaan, pengembangan sistem monitoring dan evaluasi yang komprehensif, serta perluasan jangkauan program melalui kemitraan. ***** This study aims to comprehensively evaluate the implementation of the Adiwiyata Mandiri Program at SMAN 1 Sukakarya in increasing environmental awareness and action among school residents. The Adiwiyata Mandiri Program is the highest level of appreciation in the Adiwiyata Program which shows the school's commitment to developing environmental education and creating a culture of caring for the environment. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach and CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) evaluation model developed by Stufflebeam. Data collection was carried out through in-depth interviews with school principals, Adiwiyata team coordinators, teachers, and students, as well as participatory observation and documentation studies. The results of the evaluation research show that the context evaluation reveals that the Adiwiyata Mandiri Program has been designed based on an accurate and in-depth analysis of the school environmental conditions, where there is an urgency to increase environmental awareness that is still low, waste management practices that are not optimal, and resource utilization that is not optimal. The results of the input evaluation show that despite some limitations, SMAN 1 Sukakarya has succeeded in optimizing the available resources to support the effective implementation of the program. The results of the process evaluation revealed that the implementation of the four components of Adiwiyata has gone very well and systematically. The results of the product evaluation show very satisfactory achievements in achieving the program goals that have been set. Positive impacts can be seen on increasing environmental awareness, student academic achievement, and teacher competence. Challenges identified include limitations on teacher-specific competencies, budget constraints for innovative programs, and resistance to change. Recommendations include increasing human resource capacity, diversifying funding sources, developing a comprehensive monitoring and evaluation system, and expanding the reach of programs through partnerships.
