Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan secara mendalam proses pengembangan diri peserta didik melalui kegiatan ekstrakurikuler Pramuka di SMP Islam Terpadu Al-Halimiyah. Fokus penelitian mencakup aspek perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi kegiatan yang dirancang untuk menumbuhkan kepemimpinan dan kemandirian peserta didik. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan studi dokumentasi, dengan informan terdiri dari Wakil Kepala Sekolah bidang Kesiswaan, Pembina Pramuka, dan peserta didik aktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan Pramuka dilaksanakan dengan perencanaan yang matang, program yang terstruktur, serta metode pembelajaran aktif yang mendorong keterlibatan siswa. Evaluasi dilakukan secara berkala melalui refleksi dan diskusi. Kegiatan ini terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan rasa tanggung jawab, kemandirian, kepercayaan diri, keterampilan komunikasi, dan kemampuan memimpin peserta didik. Kendala yang dihadapi meliputi keterbatasan sumber daya serta belum meratanya partisipasi siswa. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi praktis bagi pengembangan program ekstrakurikuler berbasis karakter yang terintegrasi dengan nilai-nilai keislaman, guna membentuk peserta didik yang mandiri, disiplin, dan berjiwa pemimpin. ***** This study aims to provide an in-depth description of the personal development process of students through scouting extracurricular activities at SMP Islam Terpadu Al-Halimiyah. The research focuses on the planning, implementation, and evaluation of activities designed to foster students’ leadership and independence. A qualitative approach with a case study method was employed. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis, with informants consisting of the Vice Principal for Student Affairs, Scoutmasters, and active student members. The findings indicate that scouting activities are carried out with well-prepared planning, structured programs, and active learning methods that encourage student participation. Evaluations are conducted periodically through reflection and discussion. These activities have proven effective in enhancing students’ sense of responsibility, independence, self-confidence, communication skills, and leadership abilities. Challenges encountered include limited resources and uneven student participation. This study provides practical contributions to the development of character-based extracurricular programs integrated with Islamic values, aimed at nurturing students who are independent, disciplined, and possess leadership qualities.
