Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan media e-comic dan kemampuan berpikir kritis terhadap hasil belajar sejarah pada siswa kelas XI di SMAN 84 Jakarta Barat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen yang menggunakan rancangan penelitian Post- Test Only Control Group Design serta menggunakan metode data analisis ANAVA dua jalur atau faktorial 2x2. Penentuan Sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik Sample Purposive. Sehingga dapat ditentukan dua kelompok sampel, yaitu siswa KELAS XI 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen serta siswa kelas XI 4 sebagai kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan: pertama, tidak terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar sejarah yang signifikan antara siswa yang menggunakan media e-comic dan siswa yang menggunakan media Powerpoint. Kedua, terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar sejarah yang signifikan antara siswa dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis tinggi dan siswa dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis rendah. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis tidak secara langsung mempengaruhi capaian hasil belajar dalam konteks ini. Ketiga, terdapat pengaruh interaksi yang signifikan antara media pembelajaran dan kemampuan berpikir kritis terhadap hasil belajar sejarah siswa. Artinya, efektivitas media tergantung pada tingkat kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dan sebaliknya. Keempat, terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar sejarah yang signifikan antara kombinasi kelompok siswa berdasarkan jenis media dan tingkat kemampuan berpikir kritis. Siswa dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis rendah yang belajar menggunakan e-comic (A1B2) memperoleh hasil belajar yang lebih tinggi secara signifikan dibandingkan mereka yang belajar dengan Powerpoint ((A2B2). Demikian pula, siswa dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis tinggi yang belajar menggunakan e-comic (A1B1) juga memperoleh hasil belajar yang lebih tinggi secara signifikan dibandingkan mereka yang menggunakan Powerpoint (A2B1) ******* This study aims to determine the effect of the application of e-comic learning media and critical thinking skills on history learning outcomes in class XI students at SMAN 84 West Jakarta. This research is an experimental study that uses the PostTest Only Control Group Design research design and uses a two-way ANOVA or factorial 2x2 data analysis method. Determination of Samples in this study using Purposive Sample technique. So that two sample groups can be determined, namely phase XI 1 students as experimental classes and phase XI 4 students as control classes. The results of this study show: first, there is no significant difference in history learning outcomes between students who use e-comic media and students who use Powerpoint media. Second, there is no significant difference in history learning outcomes between students with high critical thinking ability and students with low critical thinking ability. This indicates that critical thinking ability does not directly affect the achievement of learning outcomes in this context. Third, there is a significant interaction effect between learning media and critical thinking ability on students' history learning outcomes. This means that the effectiveness of the media depends on the level of students' critical thinking skills and vice versa. Fourth, there is a significant difference in history learning outcomes between the combination of student groups based on the type of media and the level of critical thinking ability. Students with low critical thinking ability who studied using ecomic (A1B2) obtained significantly higher outcomes than those who studied with Powerpoint (A2B2). Similarly, students with high critical thinking ability who learned using e-comic (AIB1) also obtained significantly higher learning outcomes than those who used Powerpoint (A2B1) Keywords; e-comic media, critical thinking skills, history learning outcomes
