Abstract
Penelitian Tindakan Kelas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memperoleh data yang empiris mengenai hasil belajar IPA siswa melalui model Predict, Observe, Explain di kelas V-B SDN Karet Kuningan 03 Pagi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V-B sebanyak 30 siswa pada semester pertama tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan model siklus Kemmis dan Mc Taggart. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dilaksanakan dengan beberapa tahapan seperti perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan dan refleksi sebagai dasar perencanaan ulang pada siklus berikutnya. Pada siklus I, hasil belajar siswa menunjukkan persentase sebesar 30% pada hasil pretest dan 60% pada hasil posttest. Pada siklus II, persentase hasil belajar siswa meningkat dengan hasil pretest sebesar 66,66% dan hasil posttest sebesar 83,33% dan mencapai Kriteria Ketercapaian Pembelajaran (KKTP). Instrumen pemantau tindakan aktivitas guru dan siswa yaitu pada siklus I sebesar 75% dan 70% dan mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II sebesar 100%. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa model Predict, Observe, Explain dapat digunakan sebagai model dalam pembelajaran IPA di kelas V-B Sekolah Dasar karena siswa belajar mengenai cara untuk memprediksi fenomena dari pernyataan, melakukan observasi pada saat kegiatan praktik dan menjelaskan hasil dari prediksi dan hasil observasi di kelas dengan bimbingan guru. ***** This Classroom Action Research aims to improve science learning outcomes. This research was conducted to obtain empirical data regarding students' science learning outcomes through the Predict, Observe, Explain model in class V-B SDN Karet Kuningan 03 Pagi. The subjects of this study were V-B class students as many as 30 students in the first semester of the 2024/2025 school year. This research was conducted using the Kemmis and Mc Taggart cycle model. Classroom Action Research is carried out with several stages such as planning, action, observation and reflection as a basis for re-planning in the next cycle. In cycle I, student learning outcomes showed a percentage of 30% on pretest results and 60% on posttest results In cycle II, the percentage of student learning outcomes increased with pretest results of 66.66% and posttest results of 83.33% and reached the Learning Achievement Criteria (KKTP). The instrument for monitoring teacher and student activity actions in cycle I was 75% and 70% increased in cycle II by 100%. The implication of this research is that the Predict, Observe, Explain model can be used as a model in science learning in class V-B Elementary School because students learn about how to predict phenomena from statements, make observations during practical activities and explain the results of predictions and observations in class with teacher guidance.
