Abstract

Pada proses pelatihan tari di sanggar tari Candik Ayu, ditemukan permasalahan yaitu kurangnya interaksi antar peserta, dikarenakan dominasi individu tertentu dalam kelompok, serta minimnya respons empatik selama latihan. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan interpersonal peserta pelatihan usia 15–17 tahun masih rendah, ditunjukkan oleh kurangnya keterbukaan, empati, dan kerja sama selama proses pembelajaran tari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan interpersonal melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dalam pelatihan tari kreasi, yaitu tari Merak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) model Kemmis and McTaggart yang terdiri dari empat tahap di setiap siklus, yaitu: (1) perencanaan (planning), (2) pelaksanaan (acting), (3) observasi (observing), dan (4) refleksi (reflecting). Subjek penelitian berjumlah 9 peserta pelatihan usia 15-17 tahun. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan wawancara, dengan instrumen penelitian berupa lembar pengamatan kemampuan interpersonal yang mencakup indikator keterbukaan, empati, sikap positif, dan kesetaraan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan interpersonal selalu mengalami perubahan pada setiap latihan dari pra siklus hingga siklus II. Skor rata-rata pra-siklus sebesar 27 meningkat menjadi 42 pada siklus I, dan mencapai 57 pada siklus II. Hasil analisis N-Gain menunjukkan nilai sebesar 0,8 dengan kategori tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, penerapan pembelajaran Tari Merak melalui model pembelajaran STAD efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan interpersonal peserta pelatihan usia 15–17 tahun di Sanggar Tari Candik Ayu. Kata kunci: kemampuan interpersonal, tari kreasi, model STAD ********* In the dance training process at Sanggar Tari Candik Ayu, a problem was identified, namely the lack of interaction among participants due to the dominance of certain individuals within the group, as well as minimal empathetic responses during practice. This indicates that the interpersonal skills of training participants aged 15–17 are still low, as reflected in the lack of openness, empathy, and cooperation during the dance learning process. This study aims to improve interpersonal skills through the application of the cooperative learning model, Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD), in creative dance training, specifically the Merak dance. The research employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) using the Kemmis and McTaggart model, which consists of four stages in each cycle: (1) planning, (2) acting, (3) observing, and (4) reflecting. The research subjects were 9 training participants aged 15–17 years. Data were collected through observation and interviews, with research instruments in the form of an interpersonal skills observation sheet covering indicators of openness, empathy, positive attitude, and equality. The results showed that interpersonal skills consistently improved in each training session, from the pre-cycle to Cycle II. The average score increased from 27 in the pre-cycle to 42 in Cycle I, and reached 57 in Cycle II. The N-Gain analysis showed a score of 0.8, categorized as high. Based on these findings, the implementation of Merak dance learning through the STAD model proved effective in improving the interpersonal skills of training participants aged 15–17 at Sanggar Tari Candik Ayu.
