Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan buletin digital “BINTANG KELAS” sebagai media literasi yang mendukung peningkatan budaya membaca siswa kelas IV. Sampel penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV SDN Pitara 1 Depok dengan teknik purposive sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model 4D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, kuesioner, dan tes literasi (pretest dan posttest), lalu dianalisis secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil validasi menunjukkan buletin dinyatakan sangat layak dengan skor rata-rata 4,25 (materi); 4,75 (media) dan 4,63 (bahasa). Uji paired t-test menunjukkan peningkatan nilai posttest (85,67) dibandingkan pretest (78,9). Kuesioner menunjukkan buletin mudah digunakan (4,2) dan sangat memotivasi (4,4). Wawancara dan observasi menunjukkan siswa lebih aktif, antusias, dan terlibat. Mayoritas siswa menyukai buletin karena tampilan menarik, konten interaktif, dan akses yang mudah. Disimpulkan bahwa buletin digital ini efektif dalam meningkatkan budaya literasi membaca siswa sekolah dasar. Rekomendasi penelitian mencakup pelatihan literasi digital bagi guru dan siswa serta pengembangan buletin secara berkelanjutan. ***** This study aims to develop a digital bulletin titled “BINTANG KELAS” as a literacy medium to enhance the reading culture of fourth-grade students. The research sample included all fourth-grade students at SDN Pitara 1 Depok, selected through purposive sampling. The study employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). Data were collected through interviews, observations, questionnaires, and literacy tests (pretest and posttest), and analyzed both quantitatively and qualitatively. Validation results indicated that the bulletin was highly feasible, with average scores of 4.25 for content, 4.75 for media and 4,63 for language. A paired t-test showed a significant increase in posttest scores (85,67) compared to pretest scores (78,9). The questionnaire results showed high scores for ease of use (4.2) and motivation (4.4). Interviews and observations revealed that students became more active, enthusiastic, and engaged. Most students appreciated the bulletin’s attractive visuals, interactive content, and easy accessibility. In conclusion, the digital bulletin is effective in enhancing the reading literacy culture of elementary school students. The study recommends digital literacy training for teachers and students and the continuous development of digital bulletins.
