Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menemukan model pengaruh langsung ataupun tidak langsung variabel insentif, budaya kerja, dan supervisi terhadap etos kerja penyuluh pertanian dalam rangka kemandirian pangan di Maluku Utara, sedangkan untuk mendapatkan model yang dimaksud maka dilakukan analisis terhadap etos kerja penyuluh pertanian. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei, yaitu penelitian kuantitatif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menentukankedudukan sesaat variabel (status quo variable) berdasarkan data yang ada pada saat itu, dan hubungan antara variabel-variabel yang diteliti. Pada penelitian ini yang menjadi populasi adalah penyuluh pertanian yang ada di Provinsi Maluku Utara. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah penyuluh pertanian yang berjumlah 196 penyuluh pertanian yang tersebar di 8 kabupaten dan 2 kota yang ada di provinsi Maluku utara. Data yang diperoleh dari lapangan kemudian diolah melalui berbagai pengujian yang dipersyaratkan sehingga tahapan selanjutnya melakukan analisis data menggunakan teknik model persamaan strukutral (SEM) dengan menggunakan software LISREL versi 8.80. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Insentif berpengaruh langsung positif terhadap etos kerja, (2) Budaya kerja berpengaruh langsung positif terhadap etos kerja, (3) Supervisi berpengaruh langsung positif terhadap etos kerja, (4) Insentif berpengaruh langsung negatif terhadap supervisi, (5) Budaya kerja berpengaruh langsung positif terhadap supervisi, (6) Insentif berpengaruh langsung positif terhadap budaya kerja, (7) Insentif memberikan berpengaruh tidak langsung positif terhadap etos kerja melalui supervisi, (8) Insentif berpengaruh tidak langsung positif terhadap supervisi melalui budaya kerja, dan (9) Budaya kerja berpengaruh tidak langsung positif terhadap etos kerja melalui supervisi. Peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa model yang dikembangkan memprioritaskan variable insentif, budaya kerja dan supervisi dalam mendukung peningkatan etos kerja penyuluh pertanian di Provinsi Maluku Utara. The purpose of this study was to find models of direct or indirect influence of incentives, work culture, and supervision variables on the work ethic of agricultural extension workers in the context of food self-sufficiency in North Maluku, while to obtain the model in question, an analysis was carried out on the work ethic of agricultural extension workers. This study uses a survey method, which is a quantitative research that aims to find out and determine the status quo variable based on the data available at that time, and the relationship between the variables studied. In this study, the population was agricultural extension workers in North Maluku Province. The sample in this study were agricultural extension workers, totaling 196 agricultural extension workers spread across 8 regencies and 2 cities in North Maluku province. The data obtained from the field is then processed through various required tests so that the next step is to analyze the data using the structural equation modeling technique (SEM) using the LISREL software version 8.80. The results showed that (1) Incentives have a direct positive effect on work ethic, (2) Work culture has a direct positive effect on work ethic, (3) Supervision has a direct positive effect on work ethic, (4) Incentives have a direct negative effect on supervision, (5) ) Work culture has a positive direct effect on supervision, (6) Incentives have a positive direct effect on work culture, (7) Incentives have a positive indirect effect on work ethic through supervision, (8) Incentives have a positive indirect effect on supervision through work culture, and (9) Work culture has a positive indirect effect on work ethic through supervision. The researcher concluded that the developed model prioritized incentives, work culture and supervision variables in supporting the improvement of the work ethic of agricultural extension workers in North Maluku Province.
