Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan buku pop-up sebagai media edukatif untuk mengenalkan pengetahuan tanah longsor pada anak usia dini. Materi yang termuat di dalam buku ini mencakup pengertian tanah longsor, faktor penyebab tanah longsor, serta tahapan mitigasi bencana yang dapat dilakukan oleh anak. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan (research and development) menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner dan lembar pengamatan anak, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan Skala Likert dan Skala Guttman. Uji coba produk secara terbatas dilakukan kepada sepuluh anak usia 5-6 tahun di salah satu lembaga PAUD yang berlokasi di Kabupaten Bandung, Jawa Barat. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa media ini termasuk ke dalam kategori sangat layak, dengan skor kelayakan sebesar 87,50% dari ahli materi, 86,75% dari ahli media, dan rata-rata sebesar 96,25% dari ketiga pendidik di lembaga PAUD tersebut. Hasil uji coba produk juga menunjukkan bahwa media ini masuk ke dalam kategori sangat baik dengan persentase sebesar 89,91%, yang ditandai dengan kemampuan anak dalam memahami isi materi. Media yang dikembangkan ini diharapkan dapat membantu para pendidik dalam menyampaikan konten terkait tanah longsor secara lebih efektif dan interaktif, sehingga meningkatkan pengetahuan anak usia dini tentang bencana tanah longsor. ***** This study aimed to develop a pop-up book as an educational medium to introduce landslide disaster mitigation knowledge to early childhood. The book contained materials covering the definition of landslides, the factors that cause landslides, and the stages of of disaster mitigation that children can undertake. This research was conducted using a research and development (R&D) approach, employing the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) development model. Data were collected through questionnaires and child observation sheets, and analyzed using the Likert Scale and the Guttman Scale. A limited product trial was conducted with ten children aged 5-6 years at one of the PAUD institutions located in Bandung Regency, West Java. The validation results show that the media is categorized as highly feasible, with feasibility scores of 87.50% from the material expert, 86.75% from the media expert, and an average score of 96.25% from three educators at the same institution. The product trial also indicates that the media is categorized as excellent, with a score of 89.91%, marked by the children’s ability to understand the learning material. This developed media is expected to assist educators in delivering more effective and interactive landslide-related content, thus increasing early childhood knowledge of landslide disasters.
