Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar menulis kritik sastra berbasis pemrosesan informasi dengan memanfaatkan media Google Sites serta menguji kelayakan dan keefektifannya dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik jenjang SMA. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) yang diawali dengan analisis situasi dan analisis kebutuhan sebagai dasar pengembangan bahan ajar. Hasil analisis kebutuhan menunjukkan bahwa lebih dari 70% peserta didik mengalami kesulitan dalam mengembangkan ide kritik, menyusun argumentasi, dan menulis kritik sastra secara sistematis, sementara bahan ajar yang digunakan masih terbatas pada buku teks dan belum memfasilitasi proses berpikir kritis secara optimal. Bahan ajar yang dikembangkan kemudian divalidasi oleh ahli materi, ahli bahasa, dan ahli media, dengan rata-rata persentase kelayakan sebesar 92,6% dan termasuk dalam kategori sangat layak. Selanjutnya, bahan ajar diimplementasikan pada peserta didik SMA. Hasil uji keefektifan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik, yang ditunjukkan oleh kenaikan rata-rata nilai dari 68,4 pada pretest menjadi 82,7 pada posttest. Peningkatan tersebut terlihat pada aspek pemahaman konsep, ketajaman analisis, dan sistematika penulisan kritik sastra. Selain itu, tanggapan peserta didik dan guru terhadap bahan ajar menunjukkan kategori positif. Dengan demikian, bahan ajar menulis kritik sastra berbasis pemrosesan informasi yang disajikan melalui Google Sites dinilai efektif, relevan, dan layak digunakan sebagai alternatif pembelajaran menulis kritik sastra. ***** This study aims to develop instructional materials for writing literary criticism based on information processing and delivered through Google Sites, as well as to examine their feasibility and effectiveness in improving senior high school students’ learning outcomes. The method employed was Research and Development (R&D), which began with a situational analysis and needs analysis as the basis for instructional material development. The results of the needs analysis indicated that more than 70% of students experienced difficulties in developing critical ideas, constructing arguments, and writing literary criticism systematically, while the instructional materials used were still limited to textbooks and had not optimally facilitated critical thinking processes. The developed instructional materials were then validated by subject matter experts, language experts, and media experts, obtaining an average feasibility score of 92.6%, which falls into the very feasible category. Subsequently, the instructional materials were implemented with senior high school students. The effectiveness test results showed an improvement in students’ learning outcomes, as indicated by an increase in the average score from 68.4 in the pretest to 82.7 in the posttest. This improvement was observed in aspects of conceptual understanding, analytical sharpness, and the systematic organization of literary criticism writing. In addition, students’ and teachers’ responses to the instructional materials were categorized as positive. Therefore, the information processing-based instructional materials for writing literary criticism delivered through Google Sites are considered effective, relevant, and feasible as an alternative approach to teaching literary criticism writing.
