Abstract

Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah merancang serta mengimplementasikan media pembelajaran digital berbasis microlearning dalam bentuk flipbook pada mata kuliah Metodologi Penelitian, khususnya pada materi pengumpulan dan analisis data serta perencanaan dan laporan penelitian. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Research and Development (R&D) dengan mengadaptasi model 4D yang terdiri atas empat tahapan, yaitu pendefinisian, perancangan, pengembangan dan penyebaran. Produk yang dikembangkan berupa flipbook digital yang terintegrasi dengan video animasi dan kuis interaktif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan motivasi belajar mahasiswa. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Teknik Mesin Universitas Negeri Jakarta yang telah dan sedang menempuh mata kuliah Metodologi Penelitian. Instrumen penelitian berupa angket validasi ahli materi, ahli media, dan uji coba mahasiswa. Berdasarkan hasil uji validasi, media flipbook berbasis microlearning memperoleh kategori kelayakan sangat tinggi dan siap diimplementasikan dalam pembelajaran dengan hasil uji validasi ahli materi sebesar 90% (sangat layak), ahli media sebesar 94% (sangat layak), dan uji coba mahasiswa sebesar 91% (sangat layak). Media ini terbukti mampu menyajikan materi yang kompleks menjadi lebih ringkas, interaktif, dan mudah dipahami. Meskipun memerlukan koneksi internet pada awalnya, media ini dapat mendukung proses pembelajaran yang lebih efektif dan efisien serta mampu menjawab rumusan masalah yang masalah yang ada. Kata Kunci: Flipbook, Microlearning, Metodologi Penelitian, Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran ***** The main objective of this study is to design and implement a digital microlearning-based instructional medium in the form of a flipbook for the Research Methodology course, particularly focusing on the topics of data collection and analysis as well as research planning and reporting. This study employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach by adapting the 4D model, which consists of four stages: define, design, develop, and disseminate. The product developed is a digital flipbook integrated with animated videos and interactive quizzes to enhance students’ understanding and learning motivation. The research subjects were students of the Mechanical Engineering Education Study Program at Universitas Negeri Jakarta who had taken or were currently taking the Research Methodology course. The research instruments included expert validation questionnaires for material and media, as well as student trial questionnaires. Based on the validation results, the microlearning-based flipbook obtained a very high feasibility category and is ready for implementation in learning activities, with scores of 90% (very feasible) from the material expert, 94% (very feasible) from the media expert, and 91% (very feasible) from the student trial. The media proved effective in presenting complex material in a more concise, interactive, and easy-to-understand format. Although it requires an internet connection initially, this media supports a more effective and efficient learning process and successfully addresses the existing research problems metod.
