Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kemampuan bersosialisasi dengan hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar di Kelurahan Jatinegara Kaum. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SD di Kelurahan Jatinegara Kaum, dengan sampel sebanyak 90 siswa yang ditentukan menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner kemampuan bersosialisasi sebanyak 20 pernyataan dan tes objektif pilihan ganda IPS sebanyak 17 soal untuk mengukur hasil belajar ranah kognitif. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji korelasi Pearson dengan bantuan IBM SPSS Statistics. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara kemampuan bersosialisasi dengan hasil belajar IPS, dengan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,744, nilai t hitung sebesar 10,453 > t tabel (1,987), dan nilai signifikansi 0,000. Hasil uji koefisien determinasi menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan bersosialisasi memberikan kontribusi sebesar 55,4% terhadap hasil belajar IPS, sedangkan 44,6% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Kemampuan bersosialisasi dan hasil belajar IPS siswa secara umum berada pada kategori sedang. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan bersosialisasi memiliki peran penting dalam mendukung pencapaian hasil belajar IPS siswa sekolah dasar. ***** This study aimed to determine the relationship between socialization skills and Social Studies (IPS) learning outcomes of fifth-grade elementary school students in Jatinegara Kaum Subdistrict. This research employed a quantitative approach using a correlational method. The population consisted of all fifth-grade students of public elementary schools in Jatinegara Kaum Subdistrict, with a sample of 90 students selected through cluster random sampling. The research instruments included a socialization skills questionnaire consisting of 20 statements and a Social Studies objective multiple-choice test consisting of 17 items to measure cognitive learning outcomes. Data were analyzed using the Pearson correlation test with the assistance of IBM SPSS Statistics. The results showed a positive and significant relationship between socialization skills and Social Studies learning outcomes, with a correlation coefficient of 0.744, a t-value of 10.453 greater than the t-table value (1.987), and a significance value of 0.000. The coefficient of determination indicated that socialization skills contributed 55.4% to Social Studies learning outcomes, while the remaining 44.6% was influenced by other factors. In general, both socialization skills and Social Studies learning outcomes were categorized at a moderate level. These findings indicate that socialization skills play an important role in supporting the achievement of Social Studies learning outcomes among elementary school students.
