Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA melalui model Discovery Learning pada siswa kelas IV A SDN Kuningan Barat 01 Jakarta Selatan sebanyak 22 orang. Metode yang digunakan yaitu Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) atau Classroom Action Research (CAR) dengan teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara observasi menggunakan lembar pemantau tindakan guru dan siswa, lembar evaluasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran Discovery Learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar yang telah dilakukan pada pelajaran IPA di kelas IV A SDN Kuningan Barat 01 Jakarta Selatan. Pada siklus I keberhasilan hasil belajar IPA siswa mendapat persentase 59% dan pada siklus II diperoleh 91% sehingga peningkatan yang terjadi sebanyak 32%. Berdasarkan hasil dari penelitian tiap siklus, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran IPA menggunakan model Discovery Learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar belajar IPA siswa kelas IV A SDN Kuningan Barat 01 Jakarta Selatan. Kata kunci: Hasil Belajar, Model Discovery Learning, Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA). ***** This study aims to improve science learning outcomes through the Discovery Learning model for 22 fourth-grade students at SDN Kuningan Barat 01, South Jakarta. The method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with data collection techniques including observation using teacher and student activity monitoring sheets, evaluation sheets, and documentation. The results of the study show that the Discovery Learning model can improve learning outcomes in science subjects for fourth-grade students at SDN Kuningan Barat 01, South Jakarta. The results indicate that in Cycle I, students’ science learning outcomes reached 59%, while in Cycle II, they increased to 91%, showing an improvement of 32%. Based on the results from each cycle, it can be concluded that science learning using the Discovery Learning model can improve the science learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SDN Kuningan Barat 01, South Jakarta.
