Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran digital book bencana banjir terhadap pemahaman relasional peserta didik kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 1 Citeureup, Kabupaten Bogor. Latar belakang penelitian ini berangkat dari masih terbatasnya media pembelajaran interaktif yang mampu menumbuhkan keterkaitan konsep antarmateri (relasional) dalam edukasi kebencanaan banjir, sehingga diperlukan inovasi berupa digital book yang menarik dan mudah diakses peserta didik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimen dengan desain one-group pretest-posttest. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari satu kelas eksperimen sebanyak 38 peserta didik yang dipilih melalui Sampling Klaster (Cluster Random Sampling). Instrumen penelitian menggunakan tes hasil belajar pre-test dan post-test. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif serta uji prasyarat normalitas dan uji hipotesis Paired Sample T-Test. Hasil statistik deskriptif menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan pemahaman relasional yang signifikan skor rata-rata pre-test adalah 58,29 dengan rentang skor 75 (skor terendah 15 dan tertinggi 90), meningkat menjadi skor rata-rata post-test yaitu 86,58 dengan rentang skor 30 (skor terendah 70 dan tertinggi 100). Hasil uji prasyarat menunjukkan data berdistribusi normal (Sig. 0,948 > 0,05). Sementara hasil uji hipotesis Paired Sample T-Test juga menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikansi (Sig.) 0,000 < 0,05, yang berarti terdapat pengaruh dan peningkatan pemahaman relasional peserta didik yang signifikan setelah menggunakan media digital book bencana banjir. Selain itu, analisis effect size (Cohen’s d) menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media digital book memberikan pengaruh yang besar terhadap peningkatan pemahaman relasional peserta didik. The background of this research stems from the limited availability of interactive learning media capable of fostering the conceptual linkage between materials (relational understanding) in flood disaster education, thus requiring innovation in the form of an engaging and easily accessible digital book. The research method used is a quasi-experiment with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The research sample consisted of one experimental class with a total of 38 students selected through Cluster Random Sampling. The research instrument used was pre-test and post-test learning achievement tests. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, the normality prerequisite test, and the Paired Sample T-Test hypothesis test. Descriptive statistics results showed a significant increase in relational understanding the pre test mean score was 58.29 with a score range of 75 (lowest score 15 and highest 90), increasing to a post-test mean score of 86.58 with a score range of 30 (lowest score 70 and highest 100). The prerequisite test results showed that the data was normally distributed (Sig. 0,948 > 0,05).
