Abstract
Alvida Damayanti, Pemenuhan Hak Pendidikan Siswa Marginal dalam Perspektif Teori Hierarki Kebutuhan Maslow di Sekolah Master Indonesia, (Studi Kualitatif pada Siswa SMA Terbuka Master Indonesia), Skripsi. Jakarta: Program Studi Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan, Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Hukum, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, 2026. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bentuk pemenuhan hak pendidikan anak marginal yang dilakukan oleh SMA Terbuka Master serta mengkaji bentuk pemenuhan hak pendidikan tersebut berdasarkan tahapan hierarki kebutuhan Abraham Maslow. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa SMA Terbuka Master berperan dalam memberikan akses pendidikan formal setara SMA dan juga memenuhi kebutuhan dasar siswa secara bertahap; (1) Kebutuhan fisiologis, belum dipenuhi oleh sekolah karena tidak ada pemberian makanan gratis dan pakaian gratis, tetapi sekolah menyediakan tempat belajar yang cukup layak; (2) Kebutuhan rasa aman, dipenuhi melalui lingkungan belajar yang kondusif, perlindungan emosional, serta pendekatan kekeluargaan; (3) Kebutuhan sosial, terpenuhi melalui interaksi positif antara siswa, guru, dan komunitas sekolah; (4) Kebutuhan penghargaan, diwujudkan melalui pemberian apresiasi, motivasi, dan pengakuan terhadap kemampuan siswa; (5) Kebutuhan aktualisasi diri, sekolah mendorong pengembangan potensi, minat, dan keterampilan hidup siswa. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa SMA Terbuka Master telah berhasil memenuhi hak pendidikan siswa marginal secara bertahap dan berkelanjutan, meskipun masih terdapat keterbatasan dalam pelaksanaannya. Pendekatan pendidikan yang holistik dan humanis yang diterapkan sekolah berkontribusi dalam pemberdayaan siswa marginal, memutus rantai keterpinggiran dalam pendidikan, serta membantu membangun rasa percaya diri, motivasi belajar, dan kesiapan siswa dalam menghadapi masa depan. ***** Alvida Damayanti, Fulfillment of Marginal Student's Right to Education in the Perspective of Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs Theory at Master Indonesia School (Qualitative Study of Master Indonesia High School Students), Thesis. This study aims to analyze the fulfillment of marginal children's right to education by SMA Terbuka Master and to examine the fulfillment of this right based on Abraham Maslow's hierarchy of needs. The study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that SMA Terbuka Master plays a role in providing access to formal education equivalent to high school and also fulfills the basic needs of students in stages; (1) Physiological needs are not yet fulfilled by the school because there is no provision of free food and clothing, but the school provides a fairly decent place to study; (2) The need for security is fulfilled through a conducive learning environment, emotional protection, and a family-like approach; (3) Social needs are met through positive interactions between students, teachers, and the school community; (4) Esteem needs are realized through appreciation, motivation, and recognition of students' abilities; (5) Self-actualization needs are met as the school encourages the development of students' potential, interests, and life skills. The conclusion of this study shows that SMA Terbuka Master has succeeded in fulfilling the educational rights of marginalized students gradually and sustainably, although there are still limitations in its implementation. The holistic and humanistic educational approach applied by the school contributes to the empowerment of marginalized students, breaks the chain of marginalization in education, and helps build students' self-confidence, motivation to learn, and readiness to face the future.
