Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui penilaian estetika produk sepatu wanita dengan eksplorasi payet dari botol plastik dengan menggunakan teknik thermoforming sehingga terciptanya sepatu wanita dengan hiasan payet dari botol plastik berdasarkan penilaian estetika dengan mengambil aspek wujud/rupa, bobot/isi, dan penampilan/penyajian. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen pre-eksperimental design one shoot case study dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen angket terbuka dan tertutup yang diberikan kepada lima penelis ahli untuk menilai, dengan variable tunggal yaitu penilaian estetika produk sepatu wanita dengan eksplorasi payet dari botol plastik. Penilaian diukur menggunakan instrumen penilaian dengan perhitingan rating scale. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa seluruh aspek berada pada kategori sangat baik. Aspek penampilan atau penyajian memperoleh nilai tertinggi dengan persentase 90,80% dengan kategori sangat baik. Hal tersebut mengartikan bahwa penilaian estetika produk telah memenuhi aspek penampilan atau penyajian dengan sangat baik. Sedangkan aspek terendah diperoleh aspek wujud atau rupa dengan persentase 88,94%. Mengacu pada lima produk yang dinilai, Desain 1 produk terbaik meraih skor persentase 92% karena telah memenuhi kriteria penilaian pada semua aspek estetika dengan sangat baik. Sebaliknnya, produk terendah mendapatkan skor persentase 86,58% dengan kategori sangat baik dan sudah menerapkan seluruh aspek estetika ke dalam produk. ***** This study was conducted to determine the aesthetic assessment of women's shoes with sequin embellishments made from plastic bottles using thermoforming techniques, thereby creating women's shoes with sequin embellishments from plastic bottles based on aesthetic assessment, taking into account aspects of form/appearance, weight/content, and presentation/display. The research method used was a pre-experimental design one-shot case study with a quantitative approach. The data collection technique in this study used open and closed questionnaires given to five expert reviewers to assess a single variable, namely the aesthetic assessment of women's shoes with sequins made from plastic bottles. The assessment was measured using an assessment instrument with a rating scale calculation. The results showed that all aspects were in the excellent category. The appearance or presentation aspect received the highest score with a percentage of 90.80% in the excellent category. This means that the aesthetic assessment of the product has fulfilled the appearance or presentation aspect very well. Meanwhile, the lowest aspect was form or shape with a percentage of 88.94%. Referring to the five products assessed, Design 1 was the best product, achieving a score of 92% because it met the assessment criteria in all aesthetic aspects very well. In contrast, the lowest-scoring product received a score of 86.58%, which is considered excellent, and has incorporated all aspects of aesthetics into the product.
