Abstract
PENGARUH INTEGRASI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN EVERYONE IS THE TEACHER HERE DAN TWO STAY TWO STRAY TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN BERNEGOSIASI Nurul Iffah Agam Zuhdi Magister Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk mengetahui pengaruh integrasi model pembelajaran Everyone Is the Teacher Here dan Two Stay Two Stray terhadap keterampilan berbicara siswa dalam bernegosiasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain one-group pretest–posttest. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 32 siswa kelas X di salah satu SMA negeri di Palu. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes keterampilan bernegosiasi yang dinilai menggunakan rubrik penilaian tervalidasi, meliputi aspek langkah-langkah negosiasi, kesesuaian isi, kaidah kebahasaan, kejelasan artikulasi, nada bicara, dan sikap. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan keterampilan bernegosiasi siswa setelah penerapan kedua model pembelajaran tersebut. Nilai rata-rata pretest sebesar 74,38 meningkat menjadi 85,25 pada posttest. Hasil uji statistik menggunakan Paired Sample t-Test menunjukkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,001 (Sig. < 0,05), yang menandakan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara nilai sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Selain itu, hasil perhitungan N-Gain Score menunjukkan nilai rata-rata sebesar 0,36 atau 36% yang termasuk dalam kategori efektivitas sedang. Secara kualitatif, hasil pengamatan menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan siswa dalam menyusun argumen secara runtut, menerapkan langkah-langkah negosiasi dengan tepat, menggunakan bahasa yang santun dan persuasif, serta menampilkan artikulasi yang lebih jelas dan sikap berbicara yang lebih percaya diri. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Everyone Is the Teacher Here dan Two Stay Two Stray efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa dalam bernegosiasi melalui pembelajaran kolaboratif yang berpusat pada siswa. Kata Kunci: Keterampilan Bernegosiasi, Everyone is the Teacher Here, Two Stay Two Stray, Pembelajaran Kooperatif (*****) THE EFFECT OF INTEGRATING THE ‘EVERYONE IS THE TEACHER’ HERE AND ‘TWO STAY TWO STRAY’ LEARNING MODELS ON NEGOTIATION SKILLS Nurul Iffah Agam Zuhdi Master of Education in Indonesian Languange Education ABSTRACT This study investigates the effect of integrating the Everyone Is the Teacher Here and Two Stay Two Stray cooperative learning models on senior high school students’ negotiation speaking skills. The research employed an experimental method using a one-group pretest–posttest design. The participants were 32 tenth-grade students at a public senior high school in Palu, Indonesia. Data were collected through oral negotiation performance tests assessed using a validated rubric covering negotiation stages, language use, content relevance, articulation, tone, and attitude. The results show a significant improvement in students’ negotiation skills after the implementation of the integrated learning models. The mean score increased from 74.38 in the pretest to 85.25 in the posttest. Statistical analysis using a paired sample t-test revealed a significant difference between pretest and posttest scores (Sig. = 0.001 < 0.05). Furthermore, the normalized gain analysis yielded an average N-Gain score of 0.36 (36%), indicating a moderate level of effectiveness. Qualitative observations also revealed improvements in students’ ability to present structured arguments, apply appropriate negotiation stages, use polite and persuasive language, and demonstrate clearer articulation and more confident speaking attitudes. In conclusion, the integration of Everyone Is the Teacher Here and Two Stay Two Stray is effective in enhancing students’ negotiation speaking skills and supports the development of communicative competence through collaborative and student-centered learning.
