Abstract

***** This study aims to determine the role of community leaders in the "Bersibersi Lemari" program at the Teman Hebat Berkarya Foundation, the business development of secondhand clothing utilization within the program, and the environmental conservation efforts to manage secondhand clothing waste. The research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive analysis method. The research subjects consisted of community leaders (the Head of the Neighborhood Association/RT and the Head of Dasa Wisma), the founders of the "Bersibersi Lemari" program, and its members. The results indicate that the "Bersibersi Lemari" program has not yet involved community leaders in disseminating information about the program to the public. To bridge the gap between current informal interactions and the expectations for future business development, proactive steps are required, such as strengthening formal cooperation and strategic collaboration with community leaders to expand the scope of impact within the community. Regarding business development, the "Bersibersi Lemari" program has successfully enhanced production processes by upcycling secondhand clothing into marketable products, collaborating with Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives to support facility providers, and promoting products through social media and participation in various exhibitions.
