Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan perilaku empati siswa dengan penerapan model value clarifications technique (VCT) dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila kelas IV SDN Kayu Manis 01 Jakarta Timur. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV Semester 2 tahun ajaran 2025/2026 yang berjumlah 31 siswa. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan menggunakan model spiral/siklus dari Stephen Kemmis dan Mc Taggart dengan dua tahap siklus yaitu tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan atau tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Teknik pengambilan data melalui pengamatan atau observasi dan melakukan wawancara, serta pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan dokumentasi atau foto yang diambil pada saat proses belajar mengajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan data yang diperoleh dari proses pembelajaran model VCT untuk tindakan guru siklus I adalah 68% dan siklus II 92%. Data yang diperoleh dari proses pembelajaran dengan model VCT untuk tindakan siswa siklus I adalah 65% dan siklus II 87%. Adapun data hasil perilaku empati siswa dari setiap aspeknya yaitu, pada aspek kognitif nilai perilaku empati siswa pada siklus I yaitu 64,5% dan siklus II 87%. Selanjutnya pada aspek afektif nilai perilaku empati siswa pada siklus I yaitu 61,3% dan pada siklus II 90%. Selain itu pada aspek komunikatif nilai perilaku empati siswa pada siklus I yaitu 64,5 dan pada siklus II 90%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa perilaku empati siswa kelas IV SDN Kayu Manis 01 Jakarta timur dapat ditingkatkan melalui penerapan model pembelajaran value clarifications technique (vct) dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila. ***** The purpose of this study was to improve students' empathy behavior by applying the value clarifications technique (VCT) model in Pancasila Education lessons for fourth graders at SDN Kayu Manis 01 Elementary School in East Jakarta. The subjects of this study were 31 fourth-grade students in the second semester of the 2025/2026 academic year. The research method used was classroom action research using Stephen Kemmis and Mc Taggart's spiral/cycle model with two cycle stages, namely planning, implementation or action, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques included observation and interviews, as well as data collection using documentation or photographs taken during the teaching and learning process. The results showed that the data obtained from the VCT model learning process for teacher actions in cycle I was 68% and in cycle II was 92%. The data obtained from the learning process using the VCT model for student actions in cycle I was 65% and in cycle II was 87%. The data on student empathy behavior in each aspect is as follows: in the cognitive aspect, the value of student empathy behavior in cycle I was 64.5% and in cycle II was 87%. Furthermore, in the affective aspect, the value of student empathy behavior in cycle I was 61.3% and in cycle II was 90%. Furthermore, in the communicative aspect, the value of student empathy behavior in cycle I was 64.5% and in cycle II was 90%. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the empathy behavior of fourth-grade students at SDN Kayu Manis 01 East Jakarta can be improved through the application of the value clarifications technique (VCT) learning model in Pancasila Education.
