Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan modul PROEBertas sebagai panduan edukasi pubertas yang sesuai dengan karakteristik peserta didik hambatan intelektual jenjang Sekolah Menengah Pertama. Penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model PPE yang meliputi tahap perencanaan, produksi, dan evaluasi. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui studi pendahuluan berupa observasi dan wawancara dengan guru untuk mengidentifikasi kebutuhan pembelajaran, serta evaluasi produk menggunakan angket skala Likert 1–4. Evaluasi melibatkan ahli materi, ahli program pembelajaran, ahli pendidikan anak hambatan intelektual, serta uji one to one kepada tiga guru SMPLB. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modul PROEBertas memperoleh penilaian sangat baik dari seluruh validator dan dinyatakan sangat layak digunakan sebagai panduan edukasi pubertas. Modul ini dinilai mampu membantu guru dalam memberikan pembelajaran pubertas yang lebih terstruktur dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan peserta didik hambatan intelektual. Simpulan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modul PROEBertas layak diimplementasikan dalam pembelajaran bina diri. Disarankan agar modul ini diuji coba pada kelompok peserta didik yang lebih luas untuk mengetahui efektivitasnya secara langsung. ***** This study aimed to develop the PROEBertas module as a puberty education guide tailored to the characteristics of junior secondary students with intellectual disabilities. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the PPE model, which consists of planning, production, and evaluation stages. Data were collected through a preliminary study involving classroom observations and teacher interviews to identify instructional needs, followed by product evaluation using Likert-scale questionnaires (1–4). The evaluation process involved subject matter experts, instructional design experts, and experts in intellectual disability education, as well as a one-to-one trial with three teachers from a special junior secondary school. Data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative and quantitative techniques. The findings indicated that the PROEBertas module received very high validation scores from all experts and was categorized as highly feasible for use as a puberty education guide. The module was considered helpful in supporting teachers to deliver structured and appropriate puberty education for students with intellectual disabilities. In conclusion, the PROEBertas module is suitable for implementation in self-care learning programs. Further research is recommended to conduct field trials involving students to examine the module’s effectiveness in instructional practice.
