Abstract
Anak usia dini mengalami kesulitan dalam mengenali huruf, membedakan bunyi awal, dan bunyi akhir pada kata. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar fonik bahasa Indonesia berbasis phonemic awareness bagi anak usia dini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Deelopment (R&D) dengan model ADDIE. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 1 guru dan 6 siswa tingkat A di TK Yudha. Instrumen yang digunakan mencakup angket analisis kebutuhan, uji validasi oleh ahli materi, ahli bahasa, dan ahli media, serta uji coba produk oleh guru dan siswa. Hasil validasi bahan ajar oleh para ahli menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar berada pada kategori sangat layak, dengan persentase kelayakan oleh ahli materi sebesar 89,2%, ahli bahasa 87,7%, dan ahli media 91,7%. Hasil uji coba produk berupa bahan ajar fonik digital berbantuan media animasi menunjukkan tingkat kepraktisan yang tinggi, yaitu 88,3% oleh guru dan 84,2% oleh siswa. Dengan demikian, bahan ajar fonik berbasis phonemic awareness yang dikembangkan dinyatakan layak dan praktis digunakan dalam pembelajaran membaca permulaan anak usia dini serta dapat menjadi alternatif bahan ajar yang inovatif. ***** Young children have difficulty recognizing letters and distinguishing between initial and final sounds in words. This study aims to develop Indonesian phonics teaching materials based on phonemic awareness for early childhood. This study used the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model. The research subjects consisted of 1 teacher and 6 grade A students at Yudha Kindergarten. The instruments used included a needs analysis questionnaire, validation tests by subject matter experts, language experts, and media experts, as well as product trials by teachers and students. The results of the teaching materials validation by the experts showed that the teaching materials were in the highly feasible category, with a feasibility percentage of 89.2% by subject matter experts, 87.7% by language experts, and 91.7% by media experts. The results of the product trial in the form of digital phonics teaching materials assisted by animated media showed a high level of practicality, namely 88.3% by teachers and 84.2% by students. Thus, the phonics teaching materials based on phonemic awareness that were developed were declared feasible and practical for use in early childhood reading learning and could be an alternative to innovative teaching materials.
