Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan sosial peserta didik kelas III dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Assisted Individualization (TAI). Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya keterampilan sosial peserta didik yang meliputi kemampuan mengenali diri, mengenal emosi, empati, simpati, berbagi, tolongmenolong, bekerja sama, dan bersaing secara sehat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan model Kemmis dan McTaggart yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus di SDN Menteng Atas 14 Jakarta Selatan dengan subjek penelitian sebanyak 27 peserta didik kelas III-B. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, dokumentasi, dan catatan lapangan, sedangkan analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif dengan membandingkan hasil setiap siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan keterampilan sosial peserta didik setelah diterapkannya model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Assisted Individualization. Pada pra-siklus, hanya 23% peserta didik yang memenuhi indikator keterampilan sosial. Setelah pelaksanaan siklus I dan siklus II, keterampilan sosial peserta didik mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan dan sebagian besar peserta didik telah mencapai indikator yang ditetapkan. Model pembelajaran TAI mampu mendorong partisipasi aktif, interaksi sosial, dan kerja sama antarpeserta didik dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila. ***** This study aims to improve the social skills of third-grade elementary school students in Pancasila Education learning through the cooperative learning model of Team Assisted Individualization (TAI). The research was motivated by the low level of students’ social skills, including self-awareness, emotional recognition, empathy, sympathy, sharing, helping behavior, cooperation, and healthy competition. This study employed Classroom Action Research using the Kemmis and McTaggart model, conducted in two cycles at SDN Menteng Atas 14 South Jakarta, involving 27 students of class III-B. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and field notes, and analyzed descriptively by comparing the results of each cycle. The results showed a significant improvement in students’ social skills after the implementation of the TAI model. In the pre-cycle, only 23% of students met the social skills indicators. After the first cycle, there was an improvement, and in the second cycle, most students achieved the expected indicators. The cooperative learning activities encouraged active participation, peer interaction, and mutual assistance among students. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Team Assisted Individualization model is effective in improving students’ social skills in Pancasila Education learning at the elementary school level.
