Abstract

Kezia Febrina Siahaya, 2026 “Konflik Gereja dalam Penciptaan Karya Seni Rupa Instalasi” Skripsi Penciptaan Karya Seni Rupa. Program Studi Pendidikan Seni Rupa, Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni, Unversitas Negeri Jakarta. Konflik dalam gereja merupakan fenomena sosial yang kerap muncul akibat perbedaan pandangan teologis, kepemimpinan, hubungan antar jemaat, serta dinamika dalam organisasi. Konflik ini tidak hanya berdampak pada kehidupan gereja, tetapi juga memengaruhi pertumbuhan iman dan kehidupan spiritual jemaat. Perupa penciptaan ini bertujuan untuk mengangkat konflik gereja sebagai sumber ide dalam penciptaan karya seni instalasi yang bersifat reflektif dan kritis. Metode yang digunakan meliputi observasi, studi literatur, refleksi personal, dan eksplorasi artistik dalam proses perancangan hingga pembuatan karya. Karya instalasi diwujudkan melalui pemanfaatan ruang, objek simbolik, material organik, serta media audio-visual untuk membangun pengalaman imersif bagi audiens. Hasil penciptaan menunjukkan bahwa seni instalasi mampu menjadi medium ekspresi yang efektif dalam merepresentasikan konflik gereja, sekaligus membuka ruang dialog dan kritik. Karya ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kesadaran sosial dan keimanan, serta mendorong sikap reflektif terhadap kehidupan gereja. *****Kezia Febrina Siahaya, 2026. “Church Conflict in The Creation of Installation Artworks.” Thesis on the Creation of Art, Visual Arts Education Program, Faculty of Language and Art, State University of Jakarta. Conflict within the church is a social phenomenon that frequently arises due to differences in theological perspectives, leadership, relationships among congregants, and organizational dynamics. Such conflicts not only affect church life but also influence the growth of faith and the spiritual life of the congregation. This artistic creation aims to explore church conflict as a source of ideas in the creation of installation art that is reflective and critical in nature. The methods employed include observation, literature review, personal reflection, and artistic exploration throughout the stages of design and production. The installation work is realized through the use of space, symbolic objects, organic materials, and audio-visual media to create an immersive experience for the audience. The results demonstrate that installation art can serve as an effective medium for expressing and representing church conflict, while simultaneously opening spaces for dialogue and critique. This work is expected to enhance social and spiritual awareness and to encourage a reflective attitude toward church life.
