Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk komunikasi verbal dan nonverbal pendidik dalam proses pembelajaran di kelompok B Salman Al-Farisi, TKIT Al-Ittihaad. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas kepala sekolah, pendidik serta orangtua anak. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model analisis Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, pendidik menyampaikan tujuan pembelajaran sesuai arahan kepala sekolah sebelum kegiatan dimulai, materi disampaikan melalui penggunaan video pembelajaran, cerita dan pemberian penguatan verbal, pendidik menjelaskan cara penggunaan media dengan memberikan contoh serta penjelasan individual sesuai kebutuhan anak, metode tanya jawab, diskusi dn demonstrasi digunakan untuk merangsang partisipasi anak, kegiatan diakhiri dengan mengulang materi serta menanyakan perasaan anak, sekaligus memberikan arahan dan memfasilitasi penyelesaian konflik. Pendidik juga menggunakan bentuk komunikasi nonverbal dalam pembelajaran seperti menatap anak dengan penuh perhatian, ekspresi wajah sesuai situasi, gerakan tubuh dengan mendekati anak, memberikan contoh, melambaikan tangan sebagai gerakan ajakan serta berdiri sejajar dengan anak dan penggunaan sentuhan dengan memeluk atau mengusap punggung untuk menenangkan anak serta menyentuh bahu, tangan atau kaki sebagai pengingat agar anak kembali fokus dalam pembelajaran. ***** This research aims to describe the forms of verbal and nonverbal communication of educators in the learning process in group B Salman Al-Farisi, TKIT Al-Ittihaad. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The research subjects consisted of school principals, educators and children's parents. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews and documentation, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman analysis model which includes data reduction, data presentation and data verification. The research results show that educators convey learning objectives according to the principal's direction before the activity begins, material is delivered through the use of learning videos, stories and providing verbal reinforcement, educators explain how to use media by providing examples and individual explanations according to children's needs, questions and answers, discussions and demonstration methods are used to stimulate children's participation, activities end by repeating the material and asking children's feelings, as well as providing direction and facilitating conflict resolution. Educators also use forms of non-verbal communication in learning such as looking at the child attentively, facial expressions according to the situation, body movements by approaching the child, giving examples, waving hands as a gesture of invitation and standing parallel to the child and using touch by hugging or rubbing the child's back to calm the child and touching the child's shoulder, hand or foot as a reminder to get the child to focus again on learning.
