Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis kualitas layanan khusus yang mengintegrasikan kurikulum Waldorf Inspired dan nilai-nilai welas asih di SMP Millennia World School. Fokus utama penelitian ini mencakup bagaimana pendekatan holistik Waldorf yang menekankan aspek berpikir (thinking), merasa (feeling), dan bertindak (willing) serta budaya welas asih diimplementasikan dalam layanan perpustakaan, ekstrakurikuler, serta bimbingan dan konseling. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Informan penelitian meliputi kepala sekolah, koordinator layanan khusus (pustakawan, PJ ekstrakurikuler), guru, dan siswa. Analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan untuk memastikan keabsahan temuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas layanan khusus di SMP Millennia World School dibangun di atas fondasi hubungan empati antara guru dan siswa. Layanan perpustakaan dan ekstrakurikuler tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai fasilitas penunjang, tetapi juga sebagai ruang pengembangan kreativitas dan karakter yang dibersamai dengan nilai welas asih. Guru dan petugas layanan menunjukkan tanggung jawab serta perhatian individual kepada siswa melalui komunikasi yang mudah dimengerti, yang selaras dengan prinsip kurikulum Waldorf dalam memandang siswa sebagai individu yang utuh secara intelektual, emosional, dan spiritual.*****This study aims to describe and analyze the quality of special services that integrate the Waldorf inspired curriculum and compassionate values at SMP Millennia World School. The primary focus includes how the holistic Waldorf approach emphasizing thinking, feeling, and willing and the culture of compassion are implemented in library services, extracurricular activities, and guidance and counseling. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. Research informants include the principal, special service coordinators (librarian, extracurricular person in charge), teachers, and students. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing to ensure the validity of the findings. The results of the study indicate that the quality of special services at SMP Millennia World School is built on a foundation of empathetic relationships between teachers and students. Library and extracurricular services function not only as supporting facilities but also as spaces for creativity and character development accompanied by compassionate values. Teachers and service staff demonstrate responsibility and individual attention to students through easily understood communication, aligning with Waldorf curriculum principles that view students as whole individuals intellectually, emotionally, and spiritually.
