Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe numbered heads together terhadap peningkatan partisipasi siswa pada materi ulama Indonesia mendunia. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya partisipasi siswa dalam mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam yang disebabkan oleh rasa jenuh terhadap model pembelajaran yang diterapkan kurang melibatkan siswa secara langsung. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori Spencer Kagan pada model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe nht, serta teori Paul D. Dierich pada partisipasi siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasi Eksperimental dengan desain Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 28 Jakarta, dengan sampel dua kelas yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling yaitu siswa kelas XI-1 dengan jumlah 33 orang sebagai kelas eksperimen dan XI-3 dengan jumlah 33 orang sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini melalui observasi, pre-test, dan post-test, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji N-Gain score dan uji paired sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap partisipasi siswa, yaitu pada post-test memiliki signifikansi sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. Hal ini diperkuat oleh nilai rata-rata post-test kelas eksperimen yang diberikan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT sebesar 90,15, lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol yang diberikan model konvensional dengan nilai 78,21. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh dari penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe numbered heads together efektif dalam meningkatkan partisipasi siswa pada materi ulama Indonesia mendunia di SMAN 28 Jakarta. ***** This study aims to analyze the effect of implementing the "Numbered Heads Together" cooperative learning model on increasing student active participation in the topic "Indonesian Ulama Goes Global." This research was motivated by low student active participation in Islamic Religious Education (IS) due to boredom with the learning model, which lacks direct student involvement. This research uses Spencer Kagan's theory on the NHT cooperative learning model, as well as Paul D. Dierich’s theory on student active student participation. The research method used was a quasi- experimental design with a nonequivalent control group design. The study population was all eleventh-grade students at SMA Negeri 28 Jakarta. Two classes were selected through purposive sampling: 33 students from grades XI-1 as the experimental class and 33 students from grade XI-3 as the control class. Data collection techniques used in this study included observation, pre-tests, and post-tests. Data were analyzed using the N-Gain score and paired sample t-test. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the NHT cooperative learning model has a significant effect on student active participation, with a post-test significance of 0.000 <0.05. This is supported by the average post-test score of 90.15 for the experimental class using the NHT cooperative learning model, higher than the score of 78.21 for the control class using the conventional model. Therefore, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Numbered Heads Together cooperative learning model is effective in increasing student active participation in the topic of "Indonesian Ulama Goes Global" at SMAN 28 Jakarta.
