Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan Implementasi Sistem Penjaminan Mutu Internal (SPMI) dalam peningkatan mutu di SMP Labschool Kebayoran Jakarta Selatan yang mencakup pemetaan mutu, penyusunan rencana peningkatan mutu, pelaksanaan program peningkatan mutu, monitoring dan evaluasi, serta penetapan standar mutu baru dan strategi peningkatan mutu. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemetaan mutu di SMP Labschool Kebayoran dilakukan secara sistematis dengan memanfaatkan berbagai sumber data, seperti Rapor Pendidikan, supervisi akademik, serta sistem digital SIMUTU yang melibatkan siswa dan orang tua. Penyusunan rencana peningkatan mutu disusun berdasarkan hasil pemetaan mutu dan diintegrasikan dalam Rencana Kerja Sekolah (RKS). Pelaksanaan program peningkatan mutu dilaksanakan sesuai dengan rencana yang telah disusun dengan melibatkan seluruh warga sekolah serta didukung oleh pembagian tugas yang jelas. Monitoring dan evaluasi dilakukan secara berkala melalui supervisi dan evaluasi program untuk memastikan ketercapaian mutu. Selanjutnya, penetapan standar mutu baru dan penyusunan strategi peningkatan mutu dilakukan berdasarkan hasil monitoring dan evaluasi sebagai bentuk perbaikan berkelanjutan. Dalam pelaksanaannya, terdapat kendala berupa keterbatasan waktu akibat padatnya kegiatan sekolah. Namun, implementasi SPMI di SMP Labschool Kebayoran tetap berjalan dengan baik karena didukung oleh komitmen seluruh warga sekolah, penggunaan sistem berbasis data, serta adanya inovasi melalui pemanfaatan sistem digital SIMUTU. Kata Kunci: Sistem Penjaminan Mutu Internal (SPMI), Mutu Pendidikan, Peningkatan Mutu. ***** This study aims to describe the Implementation of the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) in improving quality at SMP Labschool Kebayoran, South Jakarta which includes quality mapping, preparation of quality improvement plans, implementation of quality improvement programs, monitoring and evaluation, as well as the determination of new quality standards and quality improvement strategies. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with purposive sampling techniques. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The results of the study show that quality mapping at SMP Labschool Kebayoran is carried out systematically by utilizing various data sources, such as Education Report Cards, academic supervision, and the SIMUTU digital system involving students and parents. The preparation of the quality improvement plan is prepared based on the results of quality mapping and integrated into the School Work Plan (RKS). The implementation of the quality improvement program is carried out in accordance with the plan that has been prepared by involving all school residents and supported by a clear division of tasks. Monitoring and evaluation are carried out periodically through supervision and evaluation of the program to ensure quality achievement. Furthermore, the determination of new quality standards and the preparation of a quality improvement strategy are carried out based on the results of monitoring and evaluation as a form of continuous improvement. In its implementation, there are obstacles in the form of time constraints due to the density of school activities. However, the implementation of SPMI at Labschool Kebayoran Junior High School continues to run well because it is supported by the commitment of all school residents, the use of data-based systems, and innovation through the use of the SIMUTU digital system.
