Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pelaksanaan pelatihan bahasa dan pengenalan budaya Jepang pada calon perawat di Indonesia, faktor-faktor pendukung dan penghambat, serta dampaknya terhadap kesiapan calon perawat bekerja di Jepang. Metode yang digunakan adalah Systematic Literature Review (SLR) dengan menelaah sejumlah artikel ilmiah yang relevan, yang dipublikasikan dalam rentang waktu 2020–2026 melalui pangkalan data Google Scholar menggunakan bantuan aplikasi Publish or Perish. Pencarian literatur dirumuskan melalui kriteria PICO (Population, Intervention, Comparison, Outcome) dan disaring secara ketat berdasarkan metode standar PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses). Hasil analisis komparatif dari 11 artikel menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan bahasa dan budaya Jepang dilakukan melalui tiga tahapan utama (perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi). Bentuk pelaksanaan kegiatannya secara luring dan daring. Cakupan materi didominasi oleh penguasaan kompetensi linguistik dasar, serta pengenalan budaya kerja perawat lintas budaya (hospitality, etika kerja, dan gambaran profesi caregiver/ners di Jepang). Faktor pendukung pelaksanaan yang paling signifikan meliputi dukungan institusi pendidikan (sekolah/dosen) dan pemerintah dan tingginya motivasi serta antusiasme peserta. Sementara itu, kendala utama yang dihadapi meliputi keterbatasan materi yang mayoritas masih berada di tingkat dasar dan minimnya modul komprehensif yang khusus mengintegrasikan bahasa Jepang medis/keperawatan. Secara keseluruhan, pelatihan bahasa dan budaya Jepang memberikan dampak positif yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan keterampilan, serta memperkuat aspek psikologis berupa peningkatan rasa percaya diri, kesiapan mental, dan motivasi beradaptasi dengan struktur sosial masyarakat Jepang. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan bagi lembaga pendidikan keperawatan, guru bahasa Jepang, dan penyelenggara pelatihan dalam merancang strategi kurikulum dan modul pelatihan yang lebih spesifik, kontekstual, dan aplikatif guna melahirkan tenaga kesehatan Indonesia yang kompeten dan siap bersaing secara global. Kata Kunci: Pelatihan Bahasa Jepang, Budaya Jepang, Calon Perawat, Systematic Literature Review ***** This study aims to examine the implementation of Japanese language and culture training for prospective nurses in Indonesia, focusing on supporting and inhibiting factors as well as its impact on their readiness to work in Japan. The method employed is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) by analyzing relevant scholarly articles published between 2020–2026 through the Google Scholar database using the Publish or Perish application. The literature search was formulated using the PICO criteria (Population, Intervention, Comparison, Outcome) and strictly filtered based on the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) standard method. Comparative analysis of 11 articles revealed that Japanese language and culture training is generally conducted through three main stages: planning, implementation, and evaluation. The training activities were delivered both offline and online. The content primarily focused on mastering basic linguistic competencies and introducing cross-cultural nursing practices (hospitality, work ethics, and the caregiver/nurse profession in Japan). The most significant supporting factors included institutional and governmental support and high participant motivation and enthusiasm. Meanwhile, the main challenges encountered were the limited scope of materials and the lack of comprehensive modules integrating medical/nursing Japanese. Overall, Japanese language and culture training has a significant positive impact on skill development and strengthens psychological aspects such as increased self-confidence, mental readiness, and motivation to adapt to Japanese social structures. This study is expected to serve as a reference for nursing education institutions, Japanese language teachers, and training providers in designing more specific, contextual, and applicable curricula and training modules to produce competent Indonesian healthcare professionals ready to compete globally.
