Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan buku cerita bergambar berbasis keterampilan menulis tegak bersambung dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia kelas III SD serta mengetahui kelayakan media yang dikembangkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE. Subjek penelitian yaitu murid kelas III B SDN Rawamangun 05. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, angket, dan dokumentasi. Instrumen penelitian divalidasi melalui expert judgement oleh ahli media, ahli materi, dan ahli bahasa. Hasil analisis kebutuhan menunjukkan bahwa murid masih mengalami kesulitan dalam menulis tegak bersambung dan membutuhkan media pembelajaran yang menarik dan sesuai dengan karakteristik mereka. Buku cerita bergambar dikembangkan dengan memadukan cerita kontekstual, ilustrasi menarik, dan aktivitas menulis bertahap. Hasil validasi ahli menunjukkan bahwa media berada pada kategori sangat layak. Hasil uji coba pengguna juga menunjukkan respons positif, di mana murid terlihat lebih antusias dan tertarik mengikuti pembelajaran menggunakan media yang dikembangkan. Merujuk pada hasil, buku cerita bergambar berbasis keterampilan menulis tegak bersambung dinilai sangat layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia kelas III SD. ***** This study aims to develop a picture storybook based on cursive writing skills in Indonesian language learning for third grade elementary school students and to determine the feasibility of the developed media. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model. The research subjects were third grade B students of SDN Rawamangun 05. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The research instrument was validated through expert judgment by media experts, material experts, and language experts. The results of the needs analysis showed that students still experience difficulties in cursive writing and require interesting learning media that suit their characteristics. The picture storybook was developed by combining contextual stories, interesting illustrations, and gradual writing activities. The results of expert validation showed that the media was in the very feasible category. The results of user trials also showed a positive response, where students appeared more enthusiastic and interested in participating in learning using the developed media. Referring to the results, the picture storybook based on cursive writing skills was considered very feasible to be used as an Indonesian language learning medium for third grade elementary school students.
