Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar IPS murid pada ranah kognitif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Somatik, Auditori, Visual, and Intelektual (SAVI) pada murid kelas V-B SDN Menteng Atas 14. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) model Kemmis dan McTaggart yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri atas empat tahap, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah murid kelas V-B SDN Menteng Atas 14 yang berjumlah 23 murid. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2025/2026. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan meliputi tes, observasi, dokumentasi, dan catatan lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar IPS murid. Pada tahap awal penelitian, sebanyak 7 murid memperoleh nilai ≥75 dengan persentase sebesar 30,43%. Pada siklus I, sebanyak 14 murid memperoleh nilai ≥75 dengan persentase sebesar 60,87%. Pada siklus II, sebanyak 21 murid memperoleh nilai ≥75 dengan persentase sebesar 91,30%. Aktivitas guru dalam pembelajaran pada siklus I mencapai 85,70% dan meningkat menjadi 100% pada siklus II. Aktivitas murid pada siklus I mencapai 76,20% dan meningkat menjadi 95,20% pada siklus II. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran SAVI dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS murid. ***** This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in the cognitive domain of Social Studies. The purpose of this study is to improve the cognitive learning outcomes of Social Studies (IPS) through the application of the Somatic, Auditory, Visual, and Intellectual (SAVI) learning model in grade V-B students of SDN Menteng Atas 14. This study uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method of the Kemmis and McTaggart model which is implemented in two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were 23 students in grade V-B of SDN Menteng Atas 14. The study was conducted in the even semester of the 2025/2026 academic year. Data collection techniques used include tests, observation, documentation, and field notes. The results of the study showed that there was an increase in students' learning outcomes in Social Studies. In the initial stage of the study, 7 students obtained a score of ≥75 with a percentage of 30.43%. In the first cycle, 14 students obtained a score of ≥75 with a percentage of 60.87%. In cycle II, 21 students obtained a score of ≥75, representing a percentage of 91.30%. Teacher activity in learning in cycle I reached 85.70% and increased to 100% in cycle II. Student activity in cycle I reached 76.20% and increased to 95.20% in cycle II. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the application of the SAVI learning model can improve students' social studies learning outcomes.
