Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan ChatGPT terhadap hasil belajar murid pada pembelajaran IPS kelas VII di SMP Negeri 275 Jakarta. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode quasi-experimental dengan pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif. Desain yang digunakan yakni pretest-posttest control group. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh murid kelas VII SMP Negeri 275 Jakarta sebanyak 268 murid. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 34 murid kelas eksperimen (VII-B) dan 34 murid kelas kontrol (VII-E) yang dipilih secara acak menggunakan teknik claster random sampling. Kelas eksperimen diberikan perlakuan dengan menggunakan ChatGPT, sedangkan kelas kontrol hanya menggunakan metode ceramah dan tanya jawab. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes objektif pilihan ganda yang telah diuji validitas, reliabilitas, daya pembeda, dan tingkat kesukaran. Karena data pretest dan posttest berdistribusi normal dan homogen, maka uji hipotesis menggunakan uji Independent Sample T-Test. Hasil uji Independent Sampel T-Test menunjukkan nilai signifikansi Sig (2-tailed) 0,005 < 0,05, yang berarti ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan penggunaan ChatGPT terhadap hasil belajar murid. Dengan demikian, ChatGPT dapat menjadi alternatif media pembelajaran yang interaktif dan efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar murid. ***** This study aims to determine the influence of ChatGPT use on student learning outcomes in seventh grade social studies learning at SMP Negeri 275 Jakarta. The method employed was a quasi-experimental design with a quantitative research approach. The specific design used was the pretest-posttest control group. The population of this study consisted of all seventh-grade students at SMP Negeri 275 Jakarta, totaling 268 students. The research sample comprised 34 students in the experimental class (VII-B) and 34 students in the control class (VII-E), who were randomly selected using cluster random sampling technique. The experimental class was treated using ChatGPT, while the control Class only used the lecture and question and answer method. The instrument used was an objective multiple-choice test that had been tested for validity, reliability, discriminatory power, and difficulty level. Because the pretest and posttest data were normally distributed and homogen, the hypothesis test used the Independent Sample T-Test. The Independent Sample T-Test result showed a significance value Sig (2-tailed) of 0,005 < 0,05, which means there is a positive and significant influence of ChatGPT use on student learning outcomes. Thus, ChatGPT can serve as an interactive and effective alternative learning medium to improve student learning outcomes.
