Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh penilaian produk tektil hasil eksplorasi motif Nui Shibori dengan sumber inspirasi “Pantai Selatan” menggunakan pewarna alami getah tunas pisang kepok berdasarkan aspek estetika. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan rancangan One Shot Case Study. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen Rating Scale dengan 15 pernyataan yang diberikan pada lima panelis ahli. Penelitian ini menghasilkan lima produk eksplorasi motif Nui Shibori dengan sumber inspirasi “Pantai Selatan” pada kain katun primisima menggunakan pewarna alami getah tunas pisang kepok. Penilaian estetika yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari aspek wujud atau rupa, bobot atau isi, dan penyajian atau penampilan. Berdasarkan aspek wujud atau rupa yang terdiri dari sub indikator unsur dan prinsip desain yang mengacu pada sumber inspirasi “Pantai Selatan” mendapatkan nilai 90,9 dengan kategori sangat baik. Aspek bobot atau isi yang terdiri dari sub indikator suasana, gagasan dan pesan yang mengacu pada SDG (Sustainable Development Goals) mendapat nilai 92.5 dengan kategori sangat baik. Aspek penyajian atau penampilan yang terdiri dari sub indikator sarana dan media menghasilkan nilai 96 dengan kategori sangat baik. Hasil penilaian estetika secara keseluruhan berdasarkan aspek wujud atau rupa, bobot atau isi dan penyajian atau penampilan mendapatkan nilai 93,1 dengan kategori sangat baik. Produk dengan nilai paling tinggi diperoleh desain 4 yaitu 96,7 dengan kategori sangat baik. Desain dua memperoleh nilai 93,3 dengan kategori sangat baik. Desain satu dan tiga memperoleh nilai hamper sama yaitu 92,2 dan 92,5 dengan kategori sangat baik. Nilai terendah diperoleh desain 5 dengan nilai 85,8 dengan kategori baik. ***** This study aims to obtain an evaluation of textile products resulting from the exploration of Nui Shibori motifs inspired by the South Coast using natural dye extracted from kepok banana shoot sap, based on aesthetic aspects. This study employed an experimental method with a One-Shot Case Study design. Data were collected using a Rating Scale instrument consisting of 15 statements, which were assessed by five expert panelists. The study produced five textile products featuring explored Nui Shibori motifs inspired by the South Coast on primissima cotton fabric, dyed with natural dye extracted from kepok banana shoot sap. The aesthetic evaluation in this study was based on three aspects proposed by Djelantik, namely form (appearance), content, and presentation. The form (appearance) aspect, which consisted of the sub-indicators of design elements and design principles reflecting the South Coast as the source of inspiration, achieved a score of 90.9, categorized as excellent. The content aspect, consisting of the sub-indicators of atmosphere, concept, and message referring to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), obtained a score of 92.5, categorized as excellent. The presentation aspect, consisting of the sub-indicators of materials and media, achieved a score of 96.0, categorized as excellent. Overall, the aesthetic evaluation based on the aspects of form, content, and presentation obtained a score of 93.1, which falls into the excellent category. Design Four received the highest score of 96.7 (excellent), followed by Design Two with a score of 93.3 (excellent). Design One and Design Three obtained similar scores of 92.2 and 92.5, respectively, both categorized as excellent. The lowest score was obtained by Design Five, with a score of 85.8, categorized as good.
