Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepemimpinan Tranformasional terhadap Mutu Sekolah, di Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) Swasta Kecamatan Cilincing Jakarta Utara. Terdapat 2 variabel yang diteliti pada penelitian ini yaitu kepemimpinan Tranformasional sebagai variabel independent (X) dan Mutu Sekolah sebagai variabel dependent (Y). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survey dan populasi pada penelitian ini ialah para guru SMP Swasta Kecamatan Cilincing Jakarta Utara. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik propotional random sampling dengan total sampel sebesar 96 guru. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan Teknik penyebaran kuesioner penelitian dengan menggunakan s kala likert. Dalam melakukan analisis data untuk menguji hipotesis dalam penelitian ini, teknik yang digunakan ialah uji analisis regresi linear sederhana dengan hasil persamaan regresi Y = 14,509 + 0,766X. dan perolehan koefisien determinasi sebesar 77,2%. Dari hasil uji hipotesis diketahui nilai thitung sebesar 17,834 > ttabel sebesar 1,661 dengan nilai signifikansi didapatkan hasil yaitu 0,000 < 0,05. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara kepemimpinan tranformasional terhadap mutu sekolah di SMP Swasta Kecamatan Cilincing Jakarta Utara ***** This study aims to determine the effect of transformational leadership on school quality at private junior high schools (SMP) in the Cilincing subdistrict of North Jakarta. There are two variables examined in this study: transformational leadership as the independent variable (X) and school quality as the dependent variable (Y). This study employs a quantitative approach using a survey method, and the population consists of teachers at private junior high schools in the Cilincing subdistrict of North Jakarta. Sampling was conducted using proportional random sampling, with a total sample size of 96 teachers. Data were collected through the distribution of a research questionnaire using a Likert scale. To analyze the data and test the hypotheses in this study, a simple linear regression analysis was performed, yielding the regression equation Y = 14.509 + 0.766X and a coefficient of determination of 77.2%. The results of the hypothesis test showed that the calculated t-value (t-hitung) of 17.834 was greater than the critical t-value (t-table) of 1.661, with a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05. Therefore, it can be concluded that the results of this study indicate a significant influence of transformational leadership on school quality at private junior high schools in the Cilincing subdistrict of North Jakarta.
