Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan secara empiris pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share terhadap hasil belajar sejarah siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 59 Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen semu atau quasi experimental design dalam bentuk nonequivalent control group design pretest-posttest. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas X SMA Negeri 59 Jakarta tahun pelajaran 2025/2026 yang berjumlah 259 siswa dan tersebar dalam tujuh kelas. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari dua kelas, yaitu kelas X-1 sebagai kelas eksperimen yang diberi perlakuan menggunakan model pembelajaran Think Pair Share dan kelas X-2 sebagai kelas kontrol yang menggunakan model pembelajaran ekspositori. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 72 siswa, dengan masing-masing kelas berjumlah 36 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes pilihan ganda sebanyak 33 butir soal yang telah dinyatakan valid dari 40 butir soal uji coba. Hasil uji reliabilitas menunjukkan nilai Cronbach’s Alpha sebesar 0,916 sehingga instrumen berada pada kategori sangat tinggi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa data berdistribusi normal dan homogen berdasarkan hasil uji normalitas Kolmogorov-Smirnov dan uji homogenitas Levene. Rata-rata nilai kelas eksperimen meningkat dari 60,97 pada pre-test menjadi 79,61 pada post-test, dengan peningkatan sebesar 18,64. Sementara itu, rata-rata nilai kelas kontrol meningkat dari 58,36 pada pre-test menjadi 73,14 pada post-test, dengan peningkatan sebesar 14,78. Hasil uji Independent Sample T-Test menunjukkan nilai Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,010 < 0,05 dan nilai t-hitung sebesar 2,640 > t-tabel sebesar 1,994. Dengan demikian, H₀ ditolak dan Hₐ diterima. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share terhadap hasil belajar sejarah siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 59 Jakarta. Kata Kunci: Hasil Belajar, Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif, Pembelajaran Sejarah, Think Pair Share. ***** This study aims to empirically examine the effect of the Think Pair Share cooperative learning model on history learning outcomes of Grade X students at SMA Negeri 59 Jakarta. This research used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method and a nonequivalent control group pre-test post-test design. The population of this study was all Grade X students of SMA Negeri 59 Jakarta in the 2025/2026 academic year, consisting of 259 students from seven classes. The sample consisted of two classes, namely X-1 as the experimental class taught using the Think Pair Share learning model and X-2 as the control class taught using the expository learning model. The total sample consisted of 72 students, with 36 students in each class. The research instrument was a multiple-choice test consisting of 33 valid items selected from 40 trial items. The reliability test showed a Cronbach’s Alpha value of 0.916, indicating that the instrument had a very high level of reliability. The results showed that the data were normally distributed and homogeneous based on the Kolmogorov-Smirnov normality test and Levene’s homogeneity test. The mean score of the experimental class increased from 60.97 in the pre-test to 79.61 in the post-test, with an increase of 18.64 points. Meanwhile, the mean score of the control class increased from 58.36 in the pre-test to 73.14 in the post-test, with an increase of 14.78 points. The Independent Sample T-Test showed a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.010 < 0.05 and a t-value of 2.640, which was higher than the t-table value of 1.994. Therefore, H₀ was rejected and Hₐ was accepted. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the Think Pair Share cooperative learning model has an effect on history learning outcomes of Grade X students at SMA Negeri 59 Jakarta.
