Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh iklim sekolah terhadap disiplin belajar peserta didik Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri di Kecamatan Mustikajaya, Kota Bekasi. Penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode survei ini menempatkan iklim sekolah sebagai variabel bebas (X) dan disiplin belajar peserta didik sebagai variabel terikat (Y). Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 767 peserta didik, dengan sampel sebanyak 264 responden yang ditentukan dengan menggunakan rumus Slovin dan teknik proportional random sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner berskala Likert yang dianalisis menggunakan program SPSS. Hasil uji prasyarat menunjukkan bahwa data berdistribusi normal dengan nilai signifikansi 0,200 serta memiliki hubungan yang linear dengan nilai deviation from linearity sebesar 0,102. Analisis regresi linear sederhana menghasilkan persamaan Ŷ = 33.072 + 0.894 X, dengan nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 34,7%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel iklim sekolah memberikan kontribusi sebesar 34,7% terhadap disiplin belajar peserta didik, sedangkan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain di luar penelitian. Berdasarkan uji hipotesis (uji-t), ditemukan nilai thitung > ttabel (11,787 > 1,97) dengan signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara iklim sekolah terhadap disiplin belajar peserta didik Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri di Kecamatan Mustikajaya, Kota Bekasi. ***** This study aims to analyze the influence of school climate on the learning discipline of public senior high school students in Mustikajaya District, Bekasi City. This quantitative research, employing a survey method, positions school climate as the independent variable (X) and students' learning discipline as the dependent variable (Y). The population in this study consisted of 767 students, with a sample of 264 respondents determined using the Slovin formula and proportional random sampling technique. Data collection was conducted through a Likert-scale questionnaire, which was subsequently analyzed using the SPSS program. The prerequisite test results indicated that the data were normally distributed with a significance value of 0.200 and possessed a linear relationship with a deviation from linearity value of 0.102. Simple linear regression analysis yielded the equation Ŷ = 33.072 + 0.894 X, with a coefficient of determination (R^2) of 34.7%. This demonstrates that the school climate variable contributes 34.7% to students' learning discipline, while the remaining percentage is influenced by other factors outside this study. Based on the hypothesis testing (t-test) the value of of t_count>t_table (11.787>1.97) was found with a significance of 0.000 < 0.05. Consequently, it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant influence of school climate on the learning discipline of public senior high school students in Mustikajaya District, Bekasi City.
