Abstract
***** Disaster mitigation education plays a crucial role in fostering awareness, knowledge, and preparedness among students regarding potential disasters in their local environment. Selecting a learning model is often influenced by various factors, necessitating a method capable of determining the appropriate model based on specific criteria. This study aimed to examine the application of the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) in selecting learning models for disaster mitigation topics at public high schools (SMAN) in the Jatinegara District. A descriptive quantitative approach utilizing the AHP method was employed. Purposive sampling was used to select experts—specifically, geography teachers—as participants. Data analysis was conducted using the SuperDecisions software, involving the completion of comparison matrices to derive preference weights and consistency tests, followed by the generation of a decision based on the aggregated opinions of respondents. The results regarding the alternatives indicated that the highest-ranked learning model for disaster mitigation was "Outdoor Learning" (weight: 0.2780), followed by PBL (0.2090), EarthComm (0.2011), PjBL (0.1905), and Inquiry Learning (0.1214). Based on these findings, it is concluded that the Outdoor Learning model—having the highest weight—is the most recommended model for teaching disaster mitigation.
