Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis strategi organisasi Rohani Islam (Rohis) dalam membentuk karakter sosial siswa di SMA Negeri 103 Klender, Jakarta Timur. Pembentukan karakter sosial menjadi urgensi di tengah tingginya sikap individualisme di kalangan pelajar masa kini. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif untuk mengkaji implementasi fungsi manajemen pokok yang digagas oleh George R. Terry, yaitu Planning (perencanaan), Organizing (pengorganisasian), Actuating (pelaksanaan), dan Controlling (pengawasan). Pengumpulan data dilakukan secara komprehensif melalui metode observasi, wawancara mendalam dengan pihak terkait, serta studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keempat fungsi manajemen tersebut diimplementasikan secara sistematis, saling terintegrasi, dan saling menguatkan. Pada tahap perencanaan, program disusun secara matang dengan berorientasi langsung pada nilai kepedulian sosial; pengorganisasian dijalankan melalui pembagian tugas kepanitiaan yang solid dan proporsional; pelaksanaan mampu menggerakkan siswa secara proaktif dalam berbagai aksi solidaritas nyata melalui pendekatan keteladanan; serta pengawasan difokuskan secara konsisten pada pemantauan substantif terhadap perubahan perilaku anggota. Kesimpulannya, strategi pengelolaan organisasi Rohis melalui kerangka kerja POAC terbukti memberikan kontribusi yang sangat signifikan dalam menumbuhkan rasa empati, kepedulian sosial, toleransi, kejujuran, tanggungjawab, disiplin dan budaya gotong royong. Sinergi yang harmonis antara pihak pengurus, guru pembina, dan lingkungan sekolah berhasil menciptakan ekosistem pembinaan yang efektif mengikis sikap individualisme siswa secara nyata. ***** This research aims to describe and analyze the organizational strategies of the Islamic Spiritual Organization (Rohis) in shaping the social character of students at SMA Negeri 103 Klender, East Jakarta. Building social character has become an urgent matter amidst the rising tide of individualism among today's students. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach to examine the implementation of the core management functions proposed by George R. Terry: Planning, Organizing, Actuating, and Controlling (POAC). Data collection was conducted comprehensively through observations, in-depth interviews with relevant parties, and documentation studies. The results indicate that these four management functions are implemented systematically, integrated with one another, and mutually reinforcing. During the planning stage, programs are meticulously designed with a direct focus on social values; organizing is carried out through solid and proportional committee task distribution; actuating is able to proactively mobilize students in various tangible solidarity actions through an approach based on role modeling; and controlling is consistently focused on substantive monitoring of behavioral changes among members. In conclusion, the organizational management strategy of Rohis through the POAC framework has proven to make a highly significant contribution to fostering empathy, social awareness, tolerance, honesty, responsibility, discipline, and a culture of mutual cooperation (gotong royong). The harmonious synergy between student leaders, teacher advisors, and the school environment has successfully created an effective cultivation ecosystem that tangibly erodes student individualism.
