Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan bertujuan untuk mengetahu pengaruh online disinhibition effect terhadap cyberbullying pada remaja akhir pengguna Tiktok. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan analisis regresi linear sederhana. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan instrumen cyberbullying offending scale dan online disinhibition effect. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 139 responden. Hasil pada penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara online disinhibition effect terhadap cyberbullying pada remaja akhir pengguna Tiktok dengan arah pengaruh yang positif dan kontribusi sebesar 5.7%. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat membantu individu maupun para pendidik dalam memahami faktor yang dapat menjadi pemicu munculnya cyberbullying pada remaja akhir pengguna Tiktok. ***** This study aimed to examine the effect of the online disinhibition effect on cyberbullying among late adolescents who use Tiktok. The research employed a quantitative approach using simple linear regression analysis. Data were collected using the Cyberbullying Offending Scale and the Online Disinhibition Effect Scale. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, involving 139 respondents. The results indicated that there is a significant influence of the online disinhibition effect on cyberbullying among late teenage TikTok users, with a positive direction of influence and a contribution of 5.7%. These findings are expected to assist individuals and educators in understanding factors that may contribute to the emergence of cyberbullying among late adolescent Tiktok users.
