Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan mengetahui kelayakan media POPSIMA (Pop-up Book Sistem Pencernaan Manusia) berbantuan video animasi untuk siswa kelas V sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh terbatasnya penggunaan media pembelajaran yang menarik dan interaktif sehingga siswa mengalami kesulitan memahami materi sistem pencernaan manusia yang bersifat abstrak. Penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang meliputi tahap Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, angket, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa media memperoleh rata-rata persentase sebesar 98,06% dengan kategori sangat layak. Hasil uji coba kepada siswa pada tahap one to one, small group, dan field test memperoleh rata-rata persentase sebesar 98,41% dengan kategori sangat layak. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, media POPSIMA berbantuan video animasi dinyatakan sangat layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran IPAS pada materi sistem pencernaan manusia sehingga menghasilkan alternatif media pembelajaran untuk siswa memahami sistem pencernaan manusia lebih konkret dan bermakna. Kata Kunci: Pop-up Book, video animasi, sistem pencernaan manusia, IPAS, R&D. ***** This study aims to develop and determine the feasibility of the POPSIMA (Pop-up Book on the Human Digestive System) media, supported by animated videos, for fifth-grade elementary school students. This research was motivated by the limited use of engaging and interactive learning media, which makes it difficult for students to understand the abstract nature of the human digestive system. The study employed the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Data were analyzed descriptively using quantitative and qualitative methods. Validation results showed that the media achieved an average percentage of 98.06%, categorized as very feasible. The results of one-to-one, small group, and field trials with students resulted in an average percentage of 98.41%, categorized as very feasible. Based on the research findings, the POPSIMA media, supported by animated videos, was declared highly suitable for use as a science learning medium for the human digestive system, providing an alternative learning medium for students to understand the human digestive system more concretely and meaningfully.
