Abstract

Partisipasi belajar merupakan aspek penting dalam pendidikan karena mencerminkan keterlibatan peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi rendahnya partisipasi belajar peserta didik Paket A, Paket B, dan Paket C di PKBM Insan Mandiri Gemilang Kota Tangerang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode fenomenologi. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi terhadap kepala PKBM, tutor, dan peserta didik, kemudian dianalisis melalui tahapan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor pendukung meliputi tujuan memperoleh ijazah, dukungan keluarga, peran tutor, relasi sosial penggunaan metode pembelajaran aktif dan fleksibilitas pembelajaran. Faktor penghambat meliputi motivasi belajar rendah, kesiapan belajar, kurang percaya diri, kesulitan memahami materi, metode pembelajaran satu arah, penggabungan kelas, keterbatasan sarana, kondisi ekonomi, pekerjaan, serta jadwal belajar yang berbenturan dengan aktivitas peserta didik. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rendahnya partisipasi belajar dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal dan eksternal yang saling berkaitan dalam proses pembelajaran. **** Learning participation is an important aspect of education because it reflects students’ engagement in the learning process. This study aims to identify and analyze the factors that influence the low learning participation of students in Packages A, B, and C at PKBM Insan Mandiri Gemilang in Tangerang City. This study employs a qualitative approach using the phenomenological method. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving the PKBM director, tutors, and students, and were then analyzed through the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions and verification. The results of the study indicate that supporting factors include the goal of obtaining a diploma, family support, the role of tutors, social relationships, the use of active learning methods, and learning flexibility. Inhibiting factors include low learning motivation, readiness to learn, lack of self-confidence, difficulty understanding the material, one-way teaching methods, combined classes, limited facilities, economic conditions, employment, and study schedules that conflict with students’ other activities. The findings of the study indicate that low learning participation is influenced by interrelated internal and external factors in the learning process.
