Abstract
***** ***** Narcotics abuse does not only affect an individual's physical condition but also has a broad impact on their psychological and social well-being. Individuals undergoing narcotics rehabilitation face various demands, both internal, such as withdrawal symptoms and the urge to relapse (craving), and external, including strict program rules and social stigma. These conditions require the individual's capacity to endure and adapt, known as resilience. This study aims to describe resilience among individuals undergoing narcotics rehabilitation at the BNN Lido Rehabilitation Center. This research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. The research subjects consisted of three individuals undergoing rehabilitation programs along with three significant others in the form of rehabilitation counselors. Data were collected through interviews and observation. The results show that resilience among the three subjects was reflected through seven aspects, namely emotion regulation, impulse control, optimism, causal analysis, empathy, self-efficacy, and reaching out, which initially appeared unstable marked by difficulties in managing emotions and impulses as well as the use of narcotics as a coping strategy and gradually developed into more adaptive forms during the rehabilitation process. This development was shaped by the interaction between the individual's psychological condition, life experiences, and external support from family and the rehabilitation program. This study is expected to contribute to the development of more individualized rehabilitation programs, as well as strengthened family involvement and psychological skills training for residents.
