Abstract

Penelitian eksperimen ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Picture and Picture terhadap keterampilan menulis teks narasi siswa kelas V SD. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas VA sebanyak 28 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VB sebanyak 28 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol di SDN Guntur 01 Kecamatan Setiabudi Jakarta Selatan. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode quasi experimental, dengan desain pretest-posttest two group control design. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan instrumen tes yang diuji normalitas dengan uji Lilliefors dan homogenitas dengan uji Levene sebagai uji persyaratan data. Hasil pengujian normalitas dan homogenitas menunjukkan bahwa data berdistribusi normal dan data memiliki varian yang homogen. Selanjutnya dilakukan analisis hipotesis menggunakan uji-t dengan rumus independent sample t-test. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan uji-t, diperoleh harga thitung>ttabel yaitu 5,200 > 2,005, maka H1 diterima. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Picture and Picture berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keterampilan menulis teks narasi siswa kelas V SD di Kecamatan Setiabudi, Jakarta Selatan. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Picture and Picture dapat menjadi salah satu alternatif pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis teks narasi siswa. Kata kunci: Model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Picture and Picture, keterampilan menulis teks narasi, pendidikan sekolah dasar. ***** This experimental research aims to determine the effect of using the Picture and Picture cooperative learning model on narrative text writing skills of fifth-grade elementary school students. The sample in this research consisted of class VA with 28 students as the experimental class and class VB with 28 students as the control class at SDN Guntur 01, Setiabudi District, South Jakarta. The sampling technique used was cluster random sampling. The method used was the quasi-experimental method, with a pretest-posttest two group control design. Data collection was carried out using a test instrument that was tested for normality using the Lilliefors test and homogeneity using the Levene test as data requirement tests. The results of the normality and homogeneity tests showed that the data were normally distributed and had homogeneous variance. Hypothesis analysis was then conducted using the t-test with the independent sample t-test formula. Based on the results of the t-test calculation, tcount>ttable was obtained, namely 5.200 > 2.005, so H1 was accepted. The research results show that the Picture and Picture cooperative learning model has a significant effect on the narrative text writing skills of fifth-grade elementary school students in Setiabudi District, South Jakarta. These findings indicate that the Picture and Picture cooperative learning model can serve as an alternative learning approach to improve students' narrative text writing skills.
