Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengembangkan e-modul menyimak novel berbasis pendekatan pembelajaran mendalam bagi siswa kelas XI SMA, dan (2) menguji kelayakan e-modul tersebut berdasarkan penilaian ahli materi, ahli media, guru, serta respons siswa. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh keterbatasan bahan ajar yang mampu mendorong siswa menyimak secara kritis, aktif, dan bermakna dalam pembelajaran menyimak novel di sekolah. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development atau R&D dengan model ADDIE, yang meliputi tahap analyze (analisis kebutuhan dan karakteristik siswa), design (perancangan struktur dan konten e-modul), develop (pengembangan produk dan validasi ahli), implement (uji coba produk kepada siswa), dan evaluate (evaluasi serta penyempurnaan produk berdasarkan hasil uji coba). Hasil analisis kebutuhan menunjukkan bahwa siswa memerlukan bahan ajar yang ringkas, terstruktur, interaktif, serta memadukan teks dengan media audio. Hasil uji kelayakan menunjukkan bahwa e-modul memperoleh kategori sangat layak dari ahli materi dengan persentase 99%, ahli media 91%, dan guru 100%. Uji coba terbatas pada 30 siswa kelas XI menunjukkan tingkat kelayakan sebesar 87,8% dengan kategori sangat layak. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa e-modul menyimak novel berbasis pendekatan pembelajaran mendalam dinyatakan layak digunakan sebagai alternatif bahan ajar sastra yang mendukung pengalaman belajar menyimak yang lebih bermakna bagi siswa SMA. Saran bagi penelitian selanjutnya adalah agar e-modul ini diujicobakan pada cakupan sekolah yang lebih luas dan pada jenjang kelas yang berbeda, serta dikembangkan lebih lanjut dengan menambahkan variasi animasi dan fitur interaktif untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran menyimak. ***** This research aims to (1) develop an e-module for listening to novels based on an in-depth learning approach for grade XI high school students, and (2) test the feasibility of the e-module based on the assessment of material experts, media experts, teachers, and student responses. This research is motivated by the limitations of teaching materials that are able to encourage students to listen critically, actively, and meaningfully in learning to listen to novels at school. The method used is Research and Development or R&D with the ADDIE model, which includes the analyze stage (analysis of student needs and characteristics), design (design of the structure and content of e-modules), develop (product development and expert validation), implement (product trials to students), and evaluate (evaluation and improvement of products based on test results). The results of the needs analysis show that students need teaching materials that are concise, structured, interactive, and combine text with audio media. The results of the feasibility test showed that the e-module obtained a very feasible category from material experts with a percentage of 99%, media experts 91%, and teachers 100%. The trial was limited to 30 grade XI students showing a feasibility rate of 87.8% with a very feasible category. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the e-module of listening to novels based on a deep learning approach is declared feasible to be used as an alternative to literary teaching materials that support a more meaningful listening learning experience for high school students. The suggestion for further research is that this e-module be piloted in a wider school scope and at different grade levels, and further developed by adding a variety of animations and interactive features to improve the effectiveness of listening learning.
