Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis konstruksi teks berita pada media daring Detik.com dan Kompas.com mengenai kontroversi tambang nikel di Raja Ampat yang bersinggungan dengan kepentingan ekonomi dan ekologis ekosistem konservasi Penelitian ini bertujuan membedah struktur sintaksis, skrip, tematik, dan retoris guna mengungkap perbedaan pembingkaian kebahasaan kedua media. Teks ini dikaji menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan teori analisis framing model Zhongdang Pan dan Gerald M. Kosicki. Sumber data utama dalam penelitian ini adalah teks berita mengenai kontroversi tambang nikel di Raja Ampat yang dipublikasikan oleh portal berita Detik.com dan Kompas.com pada periode Juni 2025 Data dikumpulkan melalui studi dokumentasi dengan teknik simak-catat, kemudian dianalisis secara komparatif. Dari penjelasan di atas, penelitian ini akan menghasilkan analisis wacana ke dalam empat dimensi struktur kebahasaan untuk mengungkap kecenderungan pembingkaian utama (frame) serta membandingkan konstruksi realitas, ideologi, dan keberpihakan media antara Detik.com dan Kompas.com terkait isu tersebut. ***** This research analyzes the construction of news texts in the online media Detik.com and Kompas.com regarding the nickel mining controversy in Raja Ampat, which intersects with the economic and ecological interests of the conservation ecosystem. This study aims to examine the syntactic, script, thematic, and rhetorical structures to reveal the differences in linguistic framing between the two media. The texts were examined using a descriptive qualitative method applying Zhongdang Pan and Gerald M. Kosicki's framing analysis model. The primary data sources were news texts about the Raja Ampat nickel mining controversy published by Detik.com and Kompas.com June 2025. Data were collected through a documentation study using critical reading and note-taking techniques, followed by a comparative analysis. Consequently, this research provides a discourse analysis across the four dimensions of linguistic structure to uncover the main framing tendencies and compare the construction of reality, ideology, and media stance between Detik.com and Kompas.com regarding this issue.
