Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media busy book “Bucing” (Buku Kancing) sebagai media pembelajaran bina diri untuk siswa autisme. Penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE, subjek penelitian terdiri dari dua siswa autisme kelas IV SD di Maitri School. Hasil observasi dan wawancara menunjukkan bahwa siswa mengalami kesulitan memakai pakaian berkancing. Meskipun pembelajaran telah menggunakan media berupa pakaian seragam sekolah, karakteristik media tersebut belum sepenuhnya sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa autisme karena menggunakan kancing berukuran kecil. Oleh sebab itu, diperlukan pengembangan media pembelajaran yang lebih adaptif sesuai dengan karakteristik dan kebutuhan siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, validasi ahli, serta uji coba one-to-one evaluation. Hasil validasi dilakukan dengan ahli media (90%), ahli autisme (77.14%), dan ahli materi (100%), dengan rata-rata persentase yaitu 89.04% yang termasuk kategori “Baik”. Hasil one to one evaluation yang diuji secara langsung kepada siswa autisme memperoleh hasil 96% dengan kategori “Sangat Baik”. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, media busy book “Bucing” dinyatakan layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran bina diri untuk membantu siswa autisme dalam keterampilan memakai pakaian berkancing. **** This study aimed to develop the "Bucing" Busy Book (Button Book) as a self-care learning medium for students with autism. The study employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE development model. The research subjects consisted of two fourth-grade students with autism at Maitri School. The results of observations and interviews indicated that the students experienced difficulties in buttoning their clothes. Although the learning process had utilized school uniforms as instructional media, the characteristics of the media were not fully compatible with the needs of students with autism because the buttons were too small. Therefore, it was necessary to develop a more adaptive learning medium that accommodates the characteristics and needs of students with autism. Data were collected through observations, interviews, expert validation, and a one-to-one evaluation. The validation results showed scores of 90% from the media expert, 77.14% from the autism expert, and 100% from the subject matter expert, with an average score of 89.04%, which was categorized as "Good." The results of the one-to-one evaluation conducted directly with the students with autism achieved a score of 96%, which was categorized as "Very Good." Based on these findings, the "Bucing" Busy Book was considered feasible as a self-care learning medium to assist students with autism in developing their buttoning skills.
