Abstract

Pendidikan kejuruan bertujuan untuk mempersiapkan tenaga kerja terampil yang siap memasuki dunia industri, khususnya pada kompetensi Tata Kecantikan yang mengutamakan keterampilan psikomotorik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan video pembelajaran ditinjau dari peningkatan hasil belajar kognitif (pengetahuan) serta pencapaian praktik penataan sanggul kreatif evening style teknik braided up do pada siswa kelas XI Tata Kecantikan SMK Negeri 3 Tangerang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan Quasi-Experimental Design (One Group Pretest-Posttest Design) terhadap sampel sebanyak 29 siswa yang dipilih melalui teknik Cluster Random Sampling. Data kognitif dikumpulkan melalui pretest dan posttest menggunakan Google Form, sedangkan data psikomotorik diperoleh menggunakan rubrik penilaian unjuk kerja praktik digital. Hasil uji normalitas Shapiro-Wilk menunjukkan data kognitif tidak berdistribusi normal (p < 0,05), sehingga analisis dilanjutkan dengan uji non-parametrik Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test. Hasil uji Wilcoxon menunjukkan nilai Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,315 (p > 0,05) dengan Effect Size r sebesar 0,186 (kategori kecil) akibat adanya efek plafon (ceiling effect), meskipun demikian, terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar kognitif siswa dari nilai rata-rata pretest sebesar (96,72) menjadi rata-rata posttest sebesar (97,41), yangmmenunjukkan bahwa media video pembelajaran efektif mempertahankan dan menguatkan pemahaman teori peserta didik. Sementara itu pada ranah psikomotorik, penggunaan video pembelajaran terbukti sangat efektif memandu keterampilan praktik siswa, ditunjukkan dengan nilai rata-rata praktik sebesar 89,14 dan tingkat ketuntasan belajar mencapai 100% di atas KKM (≥ 80). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa penggunaan video pembelajaran efektif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman teori serta mengoptimalkan capaian hasil belajar praktik siswa hingga mencapai kategori kompeten dan sangat kompeten. Vocational education aims to prepare a skilled workforce ready to enter the industrial world, particularly in the Beauty Culture competency, which prioritizes psychomotor skills. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using instructional videos in terms of increasing cognitive learning outcomes (theoretical knowledge) and achieving practical outcomes for styling evening style creative buns using the braided up-do technique among grade XI Beauty Culture students at SMK Negeri 3 Tangerang. The research method applied was quantitative with a Quasi-Experimental Design (One Group Pretest-Posttest Design) involving a sample of 29 students selected via Cluster Random Sampling. Cognitive data were collected through pretest and posttest via Google Forms, while psychomotor data were acquired using a digital practical performance assessment rubric. The Shapiro-Wilk normality test results showed that the cognitive data were not normally distributed (p < 0.05), so the analysis was continued with the non parametric Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test. The Wilcoxon test results showed an Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.315 (p > 0.05) with an Effect Size r of 0.186 (small category) due to the ceiling effect. Nevertheless, there was an increase in students 'cognitive learning outcomes from a pretest average of 96.72 to a posttest average of 97.41, indicating that the instructional video media was effective in maintaining and strengthening students' theoretical understanding. Meanwhile, in the psychomotor domain, the use of instructional videos proved to be very effective in guiding students' practical skills, as indicated by an average practical score of 89.14 and a learning mastery level of 100% above the minimum criteria threshold (KKM ≥80). In conclusion, the use of instructional videos is effective for improving theoretical understanding and optimizing students' practical learning achievements up to the competent and highly competent categories.
