Abstract

Keterampilan berpikir kreatif menjadi fondasi bagi murid untuk menghasilkan ide-ide inovatif dalam menghadapi berbagai permasalahan. Namun, keterampilan ini masih tergolong rendah karena pembelajaran belum sepenuhnya memfasilitasi murid mengeksplorasi ide dan memecahkan masalah secara mandiri. Pada materi sistem indra, pengembangan keterampilan berpikir kreatif juga belum dilakukan secara optimal. Sebagai upaya mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, penelitian ini mengkaji penerapan model Read, Answer, Discuss, Explain and Create (RADEC) terintegrasi gallery walk terhadap keterampilan berpikir kreatif murid SMA. Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh model RADEC terintegrasi gallery walk terhadap keterampilan berpikir kreatif murid SMA pada materi sistem indra. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada Agustus 2025-Juni 2026 di SMAN 12 Jakarta menggunakan metode quasi experiment dengan desain Nonequivalent Pretest-Posttest Control-Group. Sampel penelitian terdiri atas 64 murid yang dipilih melalui simple random sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes keterampilan berpikir kreatif dan lembar observasi. Hasil uji ANCOVA menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,01 < 0,05 sehingga H₀ ditolak. Selain itu nilai partial eta squared (η²) sebesar 0,257 > 0,14 mengindikasikan bahwa perlakuan memberikan pengaruh dengan kategori efek yang besar. Temuan ini menunjukkan model RADEC terintegrasi gallery walk berpotensi menjadi alternatif pembelajaran inovatif untuk mengembangkan berpikir kreatif murid SMA. ***** Creative thinking skills serve as a foundation for students to generate innovative ideas when addressing various problems. However, these skills remain at a low level because instruction has not fully enabled students to explore ideas and solve problems independently. Regarding the topic of the sensory system, the development of creative thinking skills has also not been optimally implemented. To address this issue, this study examines the implementation of the Read, Answer, Discuss, Explain, and Create (RADEC) model integrated with a Gallery Walk, focusing on the creative thinking skills of high school students. The study aims to determine the effect of the RADEC model integrated with a Gallery Walk on the creative thinking skills of high school students regarding the topic of the sensory system. The research was conducted from August 2025 to June 2026 at SMAN 12 Jakarta using a quasi-experimental method with a Nonequivalent Pretest-Posttest Control-Group design. The sample consisted of 64 students selected through simple random sampling. Data were collected using a creative thinking skills test and observation sheets. ANCOVA results showed a significance value of 0.01 (< 0.05), leading to the rejection of the null hypothesis (H₀). Furthermore, the partial eta squared (η²) value of 0.257 (> 0.14) indicated that the treatment had a large effect size. These findings suggest that the RADEC model, integrated with a gallery walk, has the potential to serve as an innovative instructional alternative for developing high school students' creative thinking skills.
