Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital mendorong sekolah untuk mengelola platform digital tidak hanya sebagai media pembelajaran, tetapi juga sebagai bagian dari sistem pembelajaran yang terintegrasi. Salah satu platform yang mulai dimanfaatkan adalah Discord, namun kajian mengenai pengelolaannya dalam konteks manajemen pembelajaran di sekolah masih terbatas. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan manajemen pembelajaran menggunakan Platform Discord di SMA Islam Al-Azhar 22 Cikarang melalui pengalaman guru, siswa, dan pengelola sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode fenomenologi. Informan penelitian terdiri atas guru, wakil kepala sekolah sekaligus administrator Discord, kepala sekolah, dan siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan studi dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Keabsahan data diuji melalui kredibilitas, transferabilitas, dependabilitas, dan konfirmabilitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen pembelajaran menggunakan Discord dimaknai melalui tujuh aspek, yaitu perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, pengendalian kualitas pembelajaran, dukungan infrastruktur teknologi, kompetensi digital, serta kolaborasi dan komunitas belajar. Esensi fenomena yang ditemukan menunjukkan bahwa Discord mengalami transformasi dari sekadar aplikasi komunikasi menjadi ekosistem pembelajaran digital yang mendukung pembelajaran secara fleksibel, kolaboratif, dan berkelanjutan. Keberhasilan pemanfaatannya tidak ditentukan oleh teknologinya, melainkan oleh kemampuan sekolah dalam mengelola dan mengintegrasikan Discord ke dalam budaya belajar digital. ***** The rapid development of digital technology has encouraged schools to utilize digital platforms not only as learning media but also as an integral part of learning management. One of the platforms increasingly adopted for educational purposes is Discord; however, studies examining its management within the context of school learning management remain limited. This study aims to describe the management of learning using the Discord platform at SMA Islam Al-Azhar 22 Cikarang through the experiences of teachers, students, and school administrators. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach with a phenomenological method. The participants consisted of teachers, the vice principal who also served as the Discord administrator, the principal, and students. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing and verification. Data trustworthiness was established through credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. The findings reveal that learning management through Discord is experienced through seven key aspects: planning, organizing, implementation, quality control, technological infrastructure support, digital competence, and collaboration and learning community. The essence of the phenomenon indicates that participants no longer perceive Discord merely as a communication application but as a digital learning ecosystem that supports flexible, collaborative, and sustainable learning. Its successful implementation depends not on the technology itself but on the school's ability to manage and integrate Discord into its digital learning culture.
