Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui, menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh langsung dan pengaruh tidak langsung kepemimpinan transformasional, komunikasi organisasi dan motivasi kerja terhadap perilaku inovatif tenaga penjualan farmasi. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan metode path analysis. Sampel dari penelitian ini adalah 86 karyawan dari 3 perusahaan farmasi di wilayah Jabotabek, bertugas sebagai tenaga penjualan farmasi (medical representative). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa; (1) kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh langsung terhadap perilaku inovatif karyawan; (2) komunikasi organisasi berpengaruh langsung terhadap perilaku inovatif karyawan; (3) motivasi kerja berpengaruh langsung terhadap perilaku inovatif karyawan; (4) kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh langsung terhadap motivasi kerja karyawan; (5) komunikasi organisasi berpengaruh langsung terhadap motivasi kerja karyawan; (6) kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh terhadap perilaku inovatif melalui motivasi kerja; (7) komunikasi organisasi berpengaruh terhadap perilaku inovatif melalui motivasi kerja. Dengan demikian peningkatan perilaku inovatif tenaga penjualan dapat diraih dengan baik apabila adanya pengaruh kuat dari kepemimpinan transformasinal, komunikasi organisasi, dan motivasi kerja yang terbina dengan baik . This study aims to determine, test and analyze the direct and indirect effects of transformational leadership, organizational communication and work motivation on the innovative behavior of medical representative. This research approach is quantitative with the path analysis method. The sample of this study was 86 employees from 3 pharmaceutical companies in the Jakarta Great area, serving as pharmaceutical sales reps. The results showed that; (1) transformational leadership directly influences the innovative behavior of employees; (2) organizational communication directly influences the innovative behavior of employees; (3) work motivation directly influences the innovative behavior of employees; (4) transformational leadership has a direct effect on employee work motivation; (5) organizational communication directly influences employee work motivation; (6) transformational leadership influences innovative behavior through work motivation; (7) organizational communication influences innovative behavior through work motivation.Thereby increasing medical representative innovative behavior can be achieved well if there is a strong influence from transformational leadership, organizational communication, and well-motivated work motivation.
